This bike actually seems really cool. From my research it seems like it gets about 23 to 24 miles on the pedal assist 5 or throttle only. It has a 22 amp hour battery. The bigger X24 and x26 have a 29 amp hour battery. But I'm assuming the weight kind of balances out the range. For example, in real world tests the XP 3.0 long range does about 24 miles in similar conditions, but that's only a 14 amp hour battery. But only weighs 65 pounds. This bike weighs 82 pounds. So it seems like there was a direct correlation to weight, and amp hours in the battery regarding range.

Are you sure you turned the second battery on under the seat? The light was not green all three times you stopped and showed the power.
Based on your review, 50 miles in 4 days. The minimal spec GoTrax is (for what it is) punching above its weight......18.4mph seems to be the happy spot after learning the settings and ghost pedaling. Thanks for pushing me over the edge to choose.

Jack my dude I fear for your life and safety messing around with these low-end overseas lithium battery-powered bikes. Have you not heard about the massive uptick in lithium battery explosion that have been occurring all across the USA and the world collectively? I can probably vouch for most of your fans and subscribers that we would like to see you store all of these lithium battery-powered devices far away from loved ones, you're home, garage, shop or anything that you actually care about. I implore you to RUclips search lithium battery explosions and categorize them just over the past 3 months and you will see for yourself that it doesn't matter if it's charging, being used or put up for storage, they just go up in flames randomly these days!
