This was back in the GCN era of Mario and I always liked the art style of that era and plus in the 2000s we got more representation from other Mario series like Warioware and donkey Kong country and even Luigi mansion
@@NickMario1 nowadays it seems like all nintendo want to do is represent new super mario bros in a spin off title and maybe represent mario odyssey in a later "content update" that is supposed to hide the fact that the game is incomplete
The reason they can't reference these games is that the games are developed and published by Bandai-Namco, making them some of the Mario games not published by Nintendo, alongside Hotel Mario and Super Mario Bros. Special, to name a few. They don't own the rights to any of the tracks or music in the game, which is why we haven't seen a re-release of the games or any official track remakes.
