    If you want an actual, solid history of Roman history as well as the Punic Wars, listen to "The History of Rome" by Mike Duncan. The best podcast I have ever listened to and probably the most extensive. Extremely detailed and accurate, and for anyone that is a fan of Roman history or ancient history in general, it's a real treat.

      Carthage resembles Germany, Rome resembles allies.

      @@simpleman6352 Carthage had an alliance with Syracuse (until besieged by Rome), and the Macedonians during the 2nd Punic war. Carthage was multicultural coalition during the 2nd Punic war as well. Germany wanted nothing to do with Slavs during the 2nd world war.

      Plutarch's "Parallel Live" covers four biographies of men who fought during the wars. It's a very in depth look at what each man went through.

      Devvv...Carthagenians were NOT Semites,they were native Africans and ALL true evidence and facts confirm as such.

    Why confuse BC with BCE. I am not being insensitive to Non-Christians but the idea of counting years has been around for as long as we have written records. Today the international standard is to designate years based on a traditional reckoning of the year Jesus was born - the “A.D.” and "B.C." system.
