Hey guys! I tried something different with this video, and it didn't go entirely to plan lol but I tried 😭 *(Also, after reading some comments I just want to add that I didn’t see Joana Ceddia’s video until after I’d finished editing this one, so it was purely coincidence that we both ended up drawing Girl with a Pearl Earring! I didn’t draw it to “copy her” as someone suggested, it’s literally one of my favourite pieces of art so I thought it would be fun to do for this first episode. Hopefully this clears up any questions! ❤️)* I definitely struggled to push my recreations and stylise them more, so if you would like me to try this again in future let me know (And suggest some pieces! e.g. Mona Lisa, Starry Night ..etc!) That being said, I could not stop laughing while I was painting the scream so hopefully this is entertaining for you guys!! Don't forget a Draw This Again will be out tomorrow! 💖
Jenna Drawing I absolutely loved this video! My suggestion would be Dali’s ‘Une jeune fille à la fenêtre’ - I know it’s kinda a portrait of a girl, but at the same time it’s not - also it’s my favourite painting of all time. I’ve no idea why, there’s just something fascinating about it.
I would love to see a version of any Auguste Renoir but easy to find paintings are "two sisters" AKA On the terrace or "Dance At Bougival" and a landscape could be "La Grenouillere" if you like water and boats!
Ahhh you made the girl with the pearl earring so pretty! Also the scream is an interesting choice, it’s fun to see you get out of your comfort zone lmao
Just so you know, the ”no eyebrow fenomeon” is because it has been bleached away by the sun throughout the years^^ the same thing happened with the mona-lisa :D
Well that is one theory, anyway. It could also be that he simply meant to imply the girl’s hair is very pale, or it was an artistic choice, or just representative of the fact the women had very little in the way of eyebrows or eyelashes.
You did so well! I’m loving the face cam in the beginning! It’s also so nice to see you do more traditional art again, ahhh its such an inspiration! ❤️
Seeing you draw those works of art in YOUR OWN style is the best part! Recreating it to the T is cool, but you kind of know what to expect. Where as with this video you just sit back and watch the creative process flow. :D It was so fun to watch! I would REALLY love to see you recreate Flaming June!
I love your versions!!!!!!!!!!!!! God I cannot describe how awesome they are

YES Jenna! I love the results of these and I'm happy to have helped you out during the process of these as the 2nd pair of eyes! 😊 CSP is so good! I'm so glad your enjoying Clip Studio Paint 💕 'an attempt was made' I feel that part of the title so much omg
How could u hate the scream ? It’s awesome and the first one is why is went to the museum and literally redrew “the elder sister”! . You’re amazing! ❤️
I actually was thinking about doing this challenge but with other paitings! What if you also tried to turn famous sculptures into paintings? That would be interesting, some sculptures have such unique poses! Some of my favorites are from Bernini because of the movement and the expressions
I think you brought Girl with a Pearl into the current century! I have never cared for The Scream but you made it look like it should for a painting in digital today. If you ever try Oil paints you should look into the water soluble oil paint so much easier and so much safer too! I like the Holbein and the Windsor Newton Brands as they have a lot of support and extra mediums too.
NIce! That was a great way to really learn from art history. And as far as escaping your comfort zone, even if it is not always successful, it does add to your "bag of tricks".
I love watching artist stretch and I hope you try more traditional methods. I was trained in traditional methods, but had to switch to digital to keep working as a Graphic Artist for designers! I am going back to real watercolors and experimenting with pastels! Keep going never give up!
I honestly love your art! 😍 I have been watching your channel since day one, and, to see you improve in every video that you create, is utterly astonishing, and, inspiring! ❤️ Though, I do understand as where you're coming from perfectly. But, don't forget to do art that you love to do. 😊
Wow. Just wow. You are the biggest inspiration to me at the moment. Your art is truly amazing and you help me want to create art forever. Thanks! Sorry if this was kinda cheesy. Ive wanted to say this for a while.
I love how these turned out!! Especially the scream. Very nicely done. I’d love to get into digital art someday. I’ve been watching lots of your videos lately and I’m really enjoying your channel!!
That was so funny challenge and yes please please please try it with traditional art supplies. Or thy to recreate other paintings. Yeah, I got kinda excited for this video. :D
I liked them both. My only critique is that the face for the scream is in way more detail from the rest of the painting (background and his body) so it makes it stand out a bit
i really enjoy your current style but with smaller eyes, in some of your recent work the eyes have been huge but your painting and composition improved a lot
you are insanely talented!!! i absolutely adore your version of the scream, it reminds me of courage the cowardly dog, that episode with king ramses, that kind of realistic animation but i LOVE IT so much, well done girl
You've done a beautiful work with those paintings. I liked your build up from paper to digital. I though to mention that I heard some years ago that the eruption of the Krakatoa made such an impression on Munch that he painted the Scream. But after some reading I think that it may be just a theory/hypothesis. But who knows, maybe there is a truth to it.
HOLY HELL YOU ARE CUTER THAN I IMAGINED I cant wait to see what these paintings look like in your style :D Sush shush dont come in here downgrading your own art. Its lovely, and very well done. You captured the colour, feel and essence of the picture. The original Scream is definitely a surrealist nightmare painting. Your picture also helps to hit the original nail on the head. Lemme tell ya. I think struggling to learn photoshop is a better thing because I started digital art with photoshop and I struggle my arse off to be comfortable with anything else. Krita is the closest I ever got to being truly comfortable with an art app that isnt photoshop. Photoshop has ruined me! I kind of want to submit one of my ocs for you to draw, but I dunno. Even my softest well thought out OC has a setting that doesnt exactly scream sunshine and butterflies.
Oh my i absolutely love your recreations ;o i still cannot get over how amazing your shading looks- I also have a kinda off topic question, but i'm thinking of going to uni to do animation but im still not completely sure. I havent really animated a lot before but it is something id like to do in the future. Do you recommend me trying out animating things using tutorials beforehand? Did you have much experiance with animation beforehand?
heyy love ur vid. I just wanted to say I had to do some research about the girl with the pearl earring and she doesn't have eyebrows or eyelashes. I thought that would be interesting for you to know! ❤️❤️❤️
I love your interpretation of the drawings and especially the diary entry of the scream. It really makes sense now and you did a great job! :) #inspoidol
You might like Paintstorm Studio. You'll have to set aside some time to set it up and test it before you use it though. It's like an amalgamation of clip studio, sai, krita, and photoshop
Hiya!! Nice work on BOTH paintings!! It's hard to imagine anyone hating how either of these turned out. I think this was a great idea. I've decided to sub here, to see what else you've been doing. I follow artists, and I mess around with art myself on occasion.
this is about to blow up I can feel it asdgjgj I knew this was gonna be so good based on the thumbnail and this was good I'm glad I got recommended this I'm subscribing🥰
If I'm not wrong, the color of the sky was so red and vibrant because of the vulcanic ash that got in the atmosphere after the Krakatoa's (an Indonesian vulcano) eruption in the same year. The eruption was so massive and destructive that the effect showed all around the world!
Can you do a video about why photoshop is kinda harder since i have the same problem, i can do amazing things in sai, yet i don't get along well with photoshop, also do share your experience with clip art studio (hope i got the name right 😂)
I remember in school there was a picture of “The Scream” but with Squidward instead the art look so amazing it made me laugh the first time I saw it though. 😁
The reason most old painting females have no eyebrows is because they are the first thing to fade,( as the were painted very lightly ) or to be covered by old browning varnish. Some examples of this are studies that were done of Mona Lisa, that have been restored have been shown to actually have eyebrows.
Love this so much!!! I think we both had the same idea. I tried the Girl with the Pearl earring and the Mona Lisa. Check them out when you have some time. Love you Channel. Keep creating!!!

DO MONET’S WATER LILIES
Jenna Drawing I absolutely loved this video!

Waiting for the second part.
Jenna Drawing could you do the swing? I would love to see van ghogs selfportrait^^
Ahhh you made the girl with the pearl earring
so pretty! Also the scream is an interesting choice, it’s fun to see you get out of your comfort zone lmao
Thank you!!! ^-^ Lol I feel like my scream turned out so bad ;-; it was fun though hahaha
Yesss I can already tell by the thumbnail this is gonna be amazing
EDIT: and so it was
Haha thank youu! 💖
Hate it?? This is super cool!! I’d definitely love to see more!
Just so you know, the ”no eyebrow fenomeon” is because it has been bleached away by the sun throughout the years^^ the same thing happened with the mona-lisa :D
That makes sense actually, thanks for the clarification, kind netizen.
Phenomenon
Well that is one theory, anyway. It could also be that he simply meant to imply the girl’s hair is very pale, or it was an artistic choice, or just representative of the fact the women had very little in the way of eyebrows or eyelashes.
You did so well! I’m loving the face cam in the beginning! It’s also so nice to see you do more traditional art again, ahhh its such an inspiration! ❤️
Thank you so much! 💖 And I'm glad you liked the facecam I was a little unsure about it! 😅

Love the choice of video game music as always. Loved your interpretations of those pieces!
Thank you so much! :)
I thought this was a reupload of Joanna Ceddia's video she did of painting Girl With A Pearl Earring haha
same
Haha it was a coincidence that we both ended up painting it, I really loved her video she did a great job! :D
Same
Traditional Jenna Drawing SIGN ME UP!💕
Both drawings are amazing! The Girl With The Pearl Earing is well done :) but I love your take on The Scream!
Honestly it turned out great. it's very interesting to see nowdays artists revisiting old masterpieces.
I love your renditions! It’s always fun to see how people interpret pieces into their own styles.
I LOVE this idea! To me, it's so unique and I really enjoyed watching this.
Yasss I can tell this is going to be great!!!
your work has improved so much- love the color palettes you used in both paintings
I love your versions!!!!!!!!!!!!! God I cannot describe how awesome they are
YES Jenna! I love the results of these and I'm happy to have helped you out during the process of these as the 2nd pair of eyes! 😊
CSP is so good! I'm so glad your enjoying Clip Studio Paint 💕
'an attempt was made' I feel that part of the title so much omg
How could u hate the scream ? It’s awesome and the first one is why is went to the museum and literally redrew “the elder sister”! . You’re amazing! ❤️
they look awesome!!! i loved how you kept the original textures in both of them!!
I actually was thinking about doing this challenge but with other paitings! What if you also tried to turn famous sculptures into paintings? That would be interesting, some sculptures have such unique poses! Some of my favorites are from Bernini because of the movement and the expressions
Oooo absolutely LOVE that idea! Especially because like you said the unique poses, will definitely have to try that in future! :)
@@JennaDrawing Can't wait! I already loved this video, i can't even imagine how much I would love if you did some crazy sculptures!
I loved this video. I love you making your style classic paintings
I love your art so much Jenna ❤️❤️
I really love both paintings! Especially the scream! It's really interesting to see your style expressed through a creepy piece!
I think you brought Girl with a Pearl into the current century! I have never cared for The Scream but you made it look like it should for a painting in digital today. If you ever try Oil paints you should look into the water soluble oil paint so much easier and so much safer too! That video was so cool to watch Jenna, those revisited paintings are incredible in your style! I really hope you make more of these! :D
This is my favorite painting. Have a canvas print in my living room. ♥️ Great job recreating it!
YOU SHOULD MAKE MORE OF THIS ITS SUCH A COOL CONCEPT
Love this soo much ❤️ could you do like Disney princesses in your style of art?
Ooo that's a good idea! :D and thank you! 💖
NIce! That was a great way to really learn from art history. And as far as escaping your comfort zone, even if it is not always successful, it does add to your "bag of tricks".
Fantastic! Especially The girl with the pearl earring.
You totally nailed these! I’d love to see you turn this into some sort of series 😊
Both drawings turned out very well 🙂 and your take on “the scream “ stole the show. Personally, I think this was one of your best videos.
Can I just say, you have improved so much??? Your art truly makes me smile 💕
Keep up the fantastic work!
Eyyyy get it Jenna looks so amazing!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!!
Your style is raelly great, it is like realism with elements of cartoon or comic. Awesome job.
I really loved this! It would be so cool to see more interpretations of other famous artworks 😊 very educational as well 😂🌻
I love watching artist stretch and I hope you try more traditional methods. I was trained in traditional methods, but had to switch to digital to keep working as a Graphic Artist for designers! I am going back to real watercolors and experimenting with pastels! Keep going never give up!

I love this video! It’s so unique, I would have never thought of it! ❤️❤️

That was so funny challenge and yes please please please try it with traditional art supplies. Or thy to recreate other paintings.
Yeah, I got kinda excited for this video. :D
Your The Scream is super weird but in the best way possible, I love it😂
I liked them both. My only critique is that the face for the scream is in way more detail from the rest of the painting (background and his body) so it makes it stand out a bit
💗💗💗 so beautiful 😍😍😍
i really enjoy your current style but with smaller eyes, in some of your recent work the eyes have been huge but your painting and composition improved a lot

the girl with the pearl earring especially turned out SO BEAUTIFUL!! may I ask what kind of brush did you use to get that traditional painting effect?
Oh my i absolutely love your recreations ;o i still cannot get over how amazing your shading looks-

I've been on the fence about CSP for a while now....I think you just pushed me over the edge to get it.
I love your interpretation of the drawings and especially the diary entry of the scream. It really makes sense now and you did a great job! :) #inspoidol

(sorry for my english)
I love ur style it is amazing 🤩🤩
Already amazinggggg
I'VE NEVER SEEN YOUR FACE BEFORE YOU'RE SO PRETTY 💜 (and so is your art)
You might like Paintstorm Studio. You'll have to set aside some time to set it up and test it before you use it though. It's like an amalgamation of clip studio, sai, krita, and photoshop
Sketchy Tiger oooo I haven’t even heard of that! Will have to check it out!
This is lovely!
How did you get that canvas-y texture on your Girl with a pearl earring piece? I absolutely love it
This was real fun to watch and listen to! I feel educated! Thank you :3
Love your scream piece Hun
You should so do the Mona Lisa!
You just keep saying that we hate your draw .. gooosh who i supposed to hate it?!! I wish my art style just looks like yours in one day 😭😭💘💘💘❤❤💘💘

The scream, I had to draw that for art class since I am in Art I and don't have a choice but to draw it.
I just want to say I actually like your version of The Scream A LOT more than the original 😁👍🏻
Pretty!!
I would LOOOVVVE to see you use traditional medium!
And your screamer is really friggin terrifying. It feels..... like the uncanny valley lol
I really like how these came out and your version of The Scream reminds me of Courage the Cowardly Dog with King Ramses!
