Great and honest review but Milwaukee need to hire way better engineers for designing better products . Slider drawers are flimsy junk, multiple compartment boxes are only good for my kids legos . Can’t hold more then two sets of 3/8 socket sets without deforming. For what they cost, mind as well get a real tool cart .
I've seen these at Home Depot and always thought they look so awesome. Not sure if I have enough tools to fill em haha, but I also can imagine these would be insanely good for a condo too (for holding all tools and easy storage/ transport.) Could also be a very useful setup for overlanding and expeditions.. hmm..
I got 3 of each of the new ones.. and many of the originals....and the cart... I’ll say this.... I am one of those guys constantly changing my setup... spending way too much money on storage... I am now satisfied.... now I can focus on 3rd party ad-on craprtthat people are making... it’s totally worth spending the money. Now... after 30 years...I can get to any tool, without having to move anything else out of the way. .
That’s cool I didn’t know you were an electrician. Are you union? How long you’ve been a journey man for? Also how did you learn about cars? Was it just by you messing around with them since a young age? I want to get into cars but I’m at an apartment rn and can’t have a project car.
Yeah I think battery storage be good I use more of the soft bags for that since I like to carry them inside wrenches multimeter things like that would you be able to fit a lot more things up right now I have one full box dedicated to carpentry tools measuring scribe tools things like that and I would have to open the lid in order to get access to it so a drawer system would be perfect
Am I the only one who is really frustrated with the bottom drawers constantly scraping when pulled out? Even under a relatively light load such as a impact driver and drill without batteries in... Seems like a poor design to me, the base of the drawers should have been thicker or reinforced... dissapointed with these for the price tag if I am honest.
The plastic they used sucks, rigidity is poor, whole unit flexes. That was my experience with the 3 drawer unit anyway, took it back the next day, not worth the price.
The 2 drawer unit is much more practical than the 3 drawer unit. It's also quite durable, as you demonstrated - it held up to your constant tries of breaking it ;-)
Does anyone know if the 2 Drawer packouts should fit snuggly onto a full sized mount? I ask because the video shows the 2 drawer packout just sitting on top of a crate and not locking into to a packout mount. I also ask because the packout boxes I have all cleate in/clip extremely snuggly into each other but the 2 drawer packout I bought has a lot of play after being cleated/clipped in.
Should clip in with no issue into anything. The crate is probably the one piece that’s best on top as it doesn’t have as much surface area to attach to as there’s nothing in the middle cuz it’s open.
You chaps are lucky in America 🇺🇸 we in the uk 🇬🇧 have not seen them yet and I bet they will not be a good price 🤔 and l bet it will be all black not red 😔 stay safe 👍👏
Damn it. Just got an email saying I won't get my 2 and 3 drawer until mid may now. This blows. They said end of March for sure so buy from us. So I did. This is BS
The rigid system is a lot better but doesn’t have the variety….I have both and rigid is built for the long haul……the packets although nice looking aren’t as strong as rigid
Even with the fact that wood is worth as much as gold nowadays I could still build something at half the price of the Milwaukee ignorance and that is beyond sad weak and pathetic
Debating whether to get the 3 drawer or 2. What are your thoughts. I can get both but then my system would be just to high. Thanks mate 👍

Yep, 💯% you can get a nice baseplate for the truck bed and do a super clean build out.

Hell yeah!!! Where did you end up finding them? Were you on a pre order?

I can't even buy that sliding drawer packout yet...lucky bastard!

That thing is dope! Excited to see your junkyard set up
Thanks! I’m definitely excited to trick this thing out.
This is a pretty cool set up. Makes it even easier to lug your tools around especially if making a trip to pick n pull.
So question with all those tools howuch weight with all 3 tools and batteries?

Mine has been on order for a couple months, keep getting the ETA pushed back.
Awesome box set dude, you were super excited during the whole video hahaha good stuff.
What is the interior height of the drawer? Is it a full 6 inches?
Could you swap out a larger drawer for 2 of the skinny drawers? So say 1 skinny drawer and then 1 large drawer in 1 unit.
No. The boxes are the same dimension. 2 drawers take up 50% of the volume apiece. 3 drawers, 1/3 volume apiece.
I gave you a thumbs up for the zepellin riff.
Awesome, a mobile Milwaukee advertisement
I’ve had that knife for a month now and had no idea it had blade storage!! 😂
Hell yeah!! I made a video on that knife also such an amazing little thing it does it all.
I’d like to know if a 1/2” torque wrench would fit diagonal. My MAC tools one measures 22” and some change
Diagonal is about 20”. Just bought the drawers yesterday.
The 2 drawer unit is much more practical than the 3 drawer unit. It's also quite durable, as you demonstrated - it held up to your constant tries of breaking it ;-)
Rotate the blade on the multi-tool 180°
Good idea
why is it so clean?
They were brand new
Does the new packout drawers slide to the old rolling packout
It packs out if that’s what you mean.

Are they water proof?
No
Wish they had this in Australia
would a milwaukee circular saw fit in the drawer?
Nah well maybe without the blade in the two drawer

It’s funny because over here we think the black version is way cooler. Guess it’s all about what’s available.
@@BlakesGarage the red one you know is Milwaukee but the black could be any brand from a distance
I want them but not for $230 Canadian 🤔😒
Can't find anywhere. Still preorder everywhere.
Did you check homedepot.com?
@@BlakesGarage I spoke to a Milwaukee rep at Home Depot and he told me they hoped to ship to Home Depot in Canada the end of May.
Damn it. Just got an email saying I won't get my 2 and 3 drawer until mid may now. This blows. They said end of March for sure so buy from us. So I did. This is BS
came from nours channel love the car bro
Thanks!!!
Does the two drawer hold a circ saw ?
I don’t actually have a smaller one to try out but I’d guess no or you may have to take the blade off and open the guard.
@@BlakesGarage I guess I would just use the regular packout for the circ saw and a face shield
@@ExergameStation yeah the big bottom roller I would think is the best for that.
@@BlakesGarage man this system looks so nice to have 6 drawers and a big box for a landlord rolling up to do a bathroom replacement.
Clean e30 sir 👌
Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼🏁🏁
If only the bit could turn 180 degrees and still stay on the multi tool xD
No gasket to make it weatherproof 😐.
These are nice but not $150 a piece nice.
1 set of divider is what piss me off

I don't need a bottle opener cuz I only drink rum.
