Great video. I'm still learning about NYC--such an exciting place. There a really pretty old building at the end of the street...lit up purple(?). Is that Grand Central Station? I'm trying to find it on my Google Earth app but I'm not sure I've identified the right building. The Giant-sized building where the fire was has got to be a headache for firefighters to find and put out the fire. I love how you explain everything that's going on. Thank you. Sorry...i cant believe it...Civilians and firefighters are walking around in the smoke-filled area and it seems completely normal? Has no one ever heard of the consequences of smoke inhalation...there are late effects too! In Germany, a command post would never be set up in a hazardous area! But there's a lot I don't understand about the tactics of American fire departments. Maybe someone could explain it

The fan in the doorway is a PPV (positive pressure ventilation), it is helping to blow the smoke out, not used for sucking smoke!!
