So different then it was like in my childhood been there three times this year last time was 15 years before that and it’s like a hole new zoo the way they have it now I really enjoy going there fun family day
The bad thing about it it is there is so many animal that aren’t available and you couldn’t see animal clearly mist of the time because of the barrel there but i do recommend to go there it was really fun you don’t realize the time passing really fun.

As I can see on its website it also mentions the "Wild encounter close-ups, which I am assuming that its for those who are interested in experiencing the specific animals from close right?Kindly guide for this...I ll appreciate your earliest response Thanks!!!
Great zoo and a beautiful place to visit worked here for 2 years and a bit and let me tell u management is one step away from letting this place close down example the have this garbage modern night light show called lumina they spent big bucks putting it in I think it was 5 mill thinking people would want to come to the zoo to see this hipster futuristic light show that rep the future of animal life that has transcended into the digital world ya that’s how stupid it sounded to me when they preposed it anyway they spent the big bucks putting it in and after opening it floped hard but the lead vet really nice guy was concerned about projecting a light show over basically all of the artic and some indo exhibits this is not a quite light show there was a sound track with euro type music set on a loop playing continuously and laser lights everywhere after the gentleman had raised his concerns to the ceo Deolf (who had spearheaded the idea)he was swiftly fired just because he was concerned about the nocturnal and other animals trying to sleep and live a happy life at that moment I knew management didn’t care about the animals they just wanted make profit so many other problems and city employees that do nothing on a positive note all the vet and zookeeper staff loved there jobs and the animals they were like there children Wel taken care of and loved if the city of Toronto is listening to this please do us all a favour and fire the hole management building staff and use that money to change the name to animal sanctuary and switch to saving animals not putting them on display for cash
They couldn’t keep elephants,spent their lives on cement in a way too small enclosure. They’re now living like elephants at a sanctuary. Poor Lucy will never get the chance to live her best life.
It sucks. It's run by kids it's a waste of money it's dirty the animals are mostly hidden and don't whatever you do take the train as that is criminal as you literally tour parking lots.

We just had a regular day admission pass. The wild encounters are an extra charge and let you go behind the scenes or up close with certain animals.

There are lions at the zoo, but they might not have been visible when i was there!
