The LXT Delta Sander is really thin and fits between planks - you also can attach sandpaper on both sides. The new XGT is way too thick and will not sand between two mounted planks. 😢

I do like one aspect on the 18v, it's forward part is quite thin and nothing on top of it so for example sanding in-between boards would be possible with less space in between than the others.
For me it would be interesting how loud it is. I have a parkside PMFW 310 G4 mulitool with cord. But it is so extremely loud, vibrating and gets hot very fast. Makes no fun to work with it. But it was cheap.
Does anybody know if the makita device is much better / more quiet than the parkside device ?
it is not even close, parkside tools are a joke and waste of time and money.

Also makita have the makings of a cordless iron with these. wouldn’t take a lot more engineering to crest the first 40v XGT clothes iron… crisp crease free work clothes are essential for the self respectful tradesmen.

Can you try the Bosch random orbit sander with a 18v makita battery adapter please? I'd love to have a powerfull small sander like the Bosch with Makita batteries
I own the lastest Bosch 18v random Orbit Sander and unfortunately it does not work with a battery adapter. I've tried a few different adapters and several Makita batteries. The adapters fit the sander and slot in nicely but the tool won't fire up.
Most of my Bosch tools work perfectly fine with an adapter, but not the latest jigsaws or sanders.
