If the TA is a ws6 car, then why not race in the twisties and see how that G(ay)TR stacks up. Besides i doubt the gtr owner would want to void his power train warranty by using the launch mode feature thay the car comes with from the factory lmao...
3rd gens are lite..they dont take much to go fast... and the body style is very aerodynamic so the top end is real good..
i dont think he used none of your 100 shot, his TA is fast even without NOS, i think the 3rd Gen firebirds are the lightest cars out there,

What does it weigh with driver like 3300 -3400
Probably closer to 3400 with driver, but not 100% sure on the exact weight.
Most third gens that ive seen weigh about 3400
The early ones are lighter and as they got older they gained weight, anywhere from 3050 > 3500lbs stock curb weight
