Make the Bear Puppet from 'I Want My Hat Back'

Samuel Wilde, designer and maker, shows you how to make the bear puppet from Jon Klassen's 'I Want My Hat Back'. Here's the template you'll need: bit.ly/3wzweHS
To make this puppet, you will need: super glue, a cutting mat and knife or scissors, thin card (such as a cereal box), thick cardboard, craft tape or masking tape, paint (any colour you like - but we used black, brown and white), split pins x3, penny washers x2, bamboo skewers, wooden beads x2.
This activity is suitable for adults or children with some adult help.

Hello - we only had permission to keep the Hat trilogy up until 1 September I'm afraid, so they have been taken down. We have got more shows planned over the next few months though!
