Great❤. Horse lover
My favorite horse is Silver, of Lone Ranger fame. We DVR it on a regular basis.
Love this! My Grandad worked with Shire Horses here in England, and he was also a fireman. ❤
I didn't want to sit thru 30 minutes explaining about old horse footage, to finally get to see it, so I guess I won't see it unless someone wades thru to timestamp it..
🥰🥰🥰🥰
15:23 Wtf is the guy with the crank doing? Please, some explanations for things other than the US. That would be interesting.
what is 'US'? Usual Sh*t? Looks to me like the crank turns a flexible shaft which runs the shearing shears.
@@lofomuses Yoiu know, you could have answered that politely. Let me guess. You're an European who calls Americans rude and yet that was the way you chose to answer a polite question.
For the record, though it will be lost on you, there was lots of interesting footage outside the United States (as if you didn't know what US meant) and the complaint was that the video only goes in depth on the US. I'm not the one being American-centric. I would have liked to have some more in depth on other countries.
@@BlazeDuskdreamer huh? I honestly didn't know what 'US' meant. And I was born and raised in Florida. lol
You said 'THINGS other than the US'. So I thought you meant 'US' was a thing... or an acronym for a thing. How was I to know?
@@lofomuses Yeah, right. That's totally credible. That you were born in the US and didn't know what the US meant. Uh huh. Tell another one. Gawd, at least try to make it sound somewhat credible because that's frankly not.
@@BlazeDuskdreamer you said 'some explanations for things other than the US'.
That doesn't make grammatical sense, so I honestly didn't know what you were trying to convey. But, if you don't believe me, we'll just have to disagree. Say what you want to say to me or about me... I won't answer again.

"... Adaptable, gentle ..." Script writer has never read about horse behavior, or the speed with which they can kill a person out of viciousness. I love horses, but they're animals, not angels. This is ridiculously romanticized.
The diving horses was cruel animal abuse.
It's "BC" 🙄
1:50 Error number one. Mexico was ranching 400 years before the US. It was Mexican rancheros and vaqueros that taught Americans how to ranch. The US only had the big cattle drives for about 100 years before cattle cars were invented and then improved enough to be humane to the animals and relied on and trains replaced the necessity of the cattle drives about the turn of the century. The drives today are on the ranch itself and done on the dude ranches for vacationers that want to play cowboy. Mexico drove cattle up to Texas to sell for 500 years. I realize you only said America and not United States but America without North tends to imply USA to just about everyone. I really, really h8 that in all our cowboy lore, we never seem to give Mexico the credit for teaching us how to do it. The credit belongs to Mexico; not the US and Mexico did it with far more class. We treat cowboys as common labor; the vaqueros were looked up to in Mexico because only the most skilled horsemen were selected by the rancheros to be vaqueros.
