yep, and some levels have interactable obstacles that can change the layout of a level, the one that comes to mind is a dam level that, when both secret buttons are pressed and the big button is purchased, the whole map floods

Hey RCE, you can use the Middle Path Ice Monkey (Arctic wind and Above) to be able to place your engineers (and the sentries) on water (Within Range of the Ice Monkey). The Carrier Flagship Boat can also have a few towers placed on top of it. Just some helpful tips from another Btd6 Player!
that deals damage so it'd kill the engineer only run, if he REALLY wants a unit on water though, he'll have to get a pontoon also, monkey village 0-2-0 gives camo detection and 0-3-0 allows lead popping, and if the engineer gets a buff then all the turrets do as well (didn't realise it worked this way till last night, and that makes permaboost way better too) so realistically, a 2-3-0 (2-0-0 gives attack speed) is the best support tower for the engineer

For the Monkey bank you need to click on it to get the cash, and while that is the one that I prefer since you only need to click on it at the beginning of each round, it is easy to forget you have it.
you shouldnt take the money from the bank every round. to maximise banana production you have to wait until it is full (because it makes more money when it has money stored)
Since your first video I’ve been doing my own hard engineer only runs. My best run so far had alternating traps and cleansers along the path with specialized sentries in a separate row behind them. Those DDTs (the black moabs) have stealth so you need one cleanser per each DDT and specialized sentries are the only engineers that can hit them. And by adding traps in between you won’t have to worry about cleaning up the thousands of balloons being released each time a DDT pops

I know you're doing an engineer only play through, but if you use the hero Etienne or Etn at level 8 in game he allows every tower (every engineer) to see camo balloons so you wouldn't need cleansers! You can also go to the powers section in the menu and purchase a monkey farmer to autocollect bananas for you
Apart from raking in bananas cash itself, the tier 5 Banana Central makes all your BaRFs (BAnana Research Facilities) produce +25% income; it's actually the best late game farming method now. It's also always recommended to ultraboost your BC with the tier 5 engineer until it has 10x stacks, it'll produce more than double the money per round by the time it's fully boosted! Also overclocking tier 4 BARFs for extra income works too.
Also, you can trying to change the priority of targets. For the ones at the start of the track they can work more efficiently when the strongest is targeted. It does mean that most get further, but they aren't are powerful when they do.
There are a bunch of “hidden” abilities in BTD6 for cross path upgrades that you have to read the wiki or patch notes to learn about. For example, when doing foam, if you cross path the bottom path, your foam will slow down normal Bloons! For your turrets, going bottom path will also let the turrets pin Bloons, but middle path will allow the turrets to strip things like lead and camo iirc. The only problem is the turrets can’t see camo, so since you tried farms today maybe try putting a 420 engineer inside the radius of a 220 village and it’ll help!
If you are going to farm with banks in the future, get the Benjamin hero (he boosts banks). If you are farming with marketplaces in the future, get middle path cross path. You have the more valuable bananas monkey knowledge, which means that bananas are worth 30% more instead of 25% more with the valuable bananas upgrade, which means the marketplace and tiers after it will make more money than the same with top path cross path, without needing to do anything but upgrade them.
I know engineers aren’t farmers but even then that farming was painful. Go for a few 2-0-0 farms first then you can upgrade them to banks, marketplaces or plantations. If going for plantations don’t go for the valuable bananas with the 2-0-0 farms, get the 3-0-0 farms first then upgrade to 3-2-0. Also it is more efficient to save up for a 4-2-0 Banana Research facility than to spam the 3-2-0s once you have a few.
Hey RCE! You should play some odyssey runs, get some trophies (I think like 50) and buy the “rename” option in the trophy store. This allows you to give the first monkey of every type you put down a unique name! That way you can cheese your “engineer” only runs to give you more variety. You could name an alchemist Chemical Engineer and that alone would be a huge help since they are said to be the best buffer in the game. Plane or Helicopter could be Aeronautical Engineer, druid could be Environmental Engineer, mortar or sub could be Nuclear Engineer since they both have nuclear based upgrades or military engineer, spike factory could be manifacturing engineer etc. only thing is you can’t name hero monkeys, which is too bad because many have abilities or flavor which could be said are close to different types of engineering
A degree 44 paragon is actually quite a good paragon, the highest possible in singleplayer without using the hero Geraldo is degree 76. To get to 76, you need to have a total of 16.2 million pop count across all engineers on top of spamming $250k worth of non-tier 5s and making sure you have a total of 100 non-tier 5 upgrades on those.
The big black bloons are DDTs, they have camo, lead, and black bloon properties. Your XXXL trap can eat them and the Sentry Champion can deal decent damage to them, but neither of them see camo intrinsically, so you either have to grant them camo detection with a village or de-camo the DDTs with more consistent foam. Even better, there's towers that specialize in DDT damage: 2-0-5 Ice slows and deals damage 5-2-0 Bomb stuns many (needs camo) 5-0-2 Druid blows back a ton (needs camo) 0-4+-0 Ninja slows everything by 50% 4+-2-0 Sniper stuns a couple at a time 0-2-5 Wizard deals great damage 2-4+-0 Spike factory deals great damage 0-2-5 Glue stuns (needs camo) 2-0-5 Ninja fucks them all up good, even better if buffed with 0-3-0 shinobis
Use the 0-0-4 upgrade it will help you farm. 2-0-4 also will, 2-3-0 will place more cleansing foam down and 0-4-0 will overclock the one after they gives them a permanent bost.
Just an FYI, it's more cost-effective to spec into each individual banana farm at a time. At the level you have them, it's 26 bucks X 16 bananas for a total of 416 a round. Multiplied by 4, that's 1664 from all 4 farms per round. Alternatively, ONE of the next level gives 300+25% X 5, totaling 1875 per round. On easy, they cost about 16k, so even without popping any bloons or having any other source of money, in ten rounds, you can basically double your passive income via farms. Obviously, this extends to the next rank as well, but that's far more expensive to reach when you can easily pull in over 8k a round from bloons and four farms in a much shorter time period.
Placement is king. In the end you probably would have gotten a few more rounds if you moved the paragon sentries to the loop at the top right of the track because the bloons are in that area for longer, meaning more time to do damage. Same with the main paragon.
Matt, you need to read your upgrades. If you're going to have that many farms, you should have done something like 0-2-3+ or 2-0-3+ instead of 3-2-0, because the bottom row has stuff like auto-collect, and interest. Glad you remembered to fund your engineers this time, though.
I love the dedication! As a BTD6 fan this did hurt a little bit tho Mostly using engineers as a primary damage source rather than as support, but it's a good bit. Also overclock the sentry engineer, when u overclock it it shoots faster. It placing a sentry is considered shooting. Since sentries only last a short time, if it shoots faster it can have more sentries on the ground at once!
The valuable bananas upgrade on the banana farm only makes a real difference when you have a plantation (tier 3 top path), before then you should just place down more 2-0-0 farms (tier 2 on the top path).
Hey RCE, I have a tip for you. Spam bloon traps. They're a really good alt eco option, abd destroy bloons. XXXL Trap is also a good investment as it can absorb blimps, up to either a ZOMG or DDT (if visible).
Spamming traps only gets you so far, since only the XXL trap can nab Moab and traps are useless against BADs. So yes good idea to have some, but if normal Bloons aren’t ever reaching a trap than it is wasted potential
The laser turret attacks everything that crosses its line, not just the end of the laser! The end does get a damage boost, but you want the Bloons to stay on the line as long as possible to hit many at once! So it is best to put it at the end of a long straight path and target the other end.
there is a slightly faster way to place down units in the game, hotkeys. every tower is bound to a key. the engineer for instance is bound to L. keep experipenting with towers and soon you'll figure out some really good combos.
top tree farm increases yield of those around it, then when the bar is red on the bottom of the banks they are full and ready to collect, also monkey farmes will auto collect bananas in range
Im late to be party but heres the upgrade info for the banana central upgrade Crates are worth 4x more, for $1200 per crate. Makes Banana Research Facility crates be worth +25% (rounded down). also just because here is the t5 upgrades for the farm p2 Ability cooldown from 90s to 60s, limited to 2 uses per round, and ability no longer includes a debt. (this relates to the ability for the t4 upgrade) p3 Generates the same amount of money as a Central Market, but adds $4000 and 10 lives at the end of each round. Also automatically gathers nearby collectibles like a Banana Farmer would.
the monkeypolios is an upgrade for the moneky city and it will consume all the banana farms in it's radius and produces the same money. It can free up a lot of space
Caution on rounds 24 because there is a camo bloon round 28 and 30 there are lots of leads and on round 33 there is lots of camo Bloons after round 40 every twenty rounds there is a new blimp 40 is Moab 60 is BFB 80 ZOMG 100 BAD 140 fortified bad this will help you with rounds to be cautious of.

Jesus Christ, getting to round 420 would probably take him an entire day of just recording and honestly he wouldn’t be able to do it with just the engineer monkey. Exponential growth goes hard after round 200 in BTD6
the big blue bloons are MOABs, the red ones are BFBs, the black and green ones are ZOMGs, the fast all black ones are DDTs, and the purple ones are BADs.
RCE a good rule of thumb in this game is, the bigger the tier, the better the tower/more efficient For example: one turret champion or whatever, is better than his price worth of centry experts, that are more efficient than their price worth of base engeneers. Of course this isn't true for every moment but in general it is true for 1. Engeneers 2. Banana farms. So take that into consideration (or not) and keep up with the great uploads
a little tip, try pressing the little yellow lightning icon next to to the "start round" button, it might make you life a lot easier when it comes to picking up bananas. as someone that can never get enough farms, i can testify to that it's deffinetly worth it
fun fact: all monkeys can swim but they prefer not to because it's hard to attack while swimming and pat can be placed on water because he is a fluffy floaty boi and yes ninja kiwi actually said it
Tip: Next time you wanna farm you should start a bit sooner, get an engi or 2-3 atleast 1 cleansing and spend a bit less on defense cuz look how easy u took out the moab. What the banana central does is it gives a load of money himself, i think arround 1400 per crate, it also buffs the ammount the facilitys make, normal: 300 per, central buff: 487
Some tips: Sentries don't take up any space, the engineers will try to put them in positions that aren't already taken up by other towers, but if they have no other option they will just place them inside other towers There is a power called the banana farmer that you can buy for 50 monkey money, they are very useful because they can pick up bananas and crates from top path farms for you Use middle path villages to buff your towers It's more efficient to place one banana farm before upgrading it to 2-0-0 then place down more farms, than it is to place down more banana farms without upgrading the previous one first
I believe there is a bug with the engineer where the more range doesnt affect the sentries placement if the sentries upgrade is bought first so buy the better range first then the sentries upgrade
It is more cost efficient to upgrade your banana farms to 2-0-0 before you buy a new one and also when selling said farms, you gain money by upgrading to 2-0-2 before selling them
I don't know whether or not Geraldo would be available to your method of playing the game, but he sells engineering marvels and at level 20 he can sell totems which could empower your paragon.
my suggestion would be to look at hotkeys, since it's so much easier to play, since for example , is for upgrade top path, . is for upgrade middle path, / is for upgrade bottom path, i think you found the hotkey for engineer last video on btd6, same for abilities i think, also yea many maps have interactable things, some are purely visual, others have actual use, for example saudas sword on ravine, buttons on flooded valley, crusher on scrapyard, and few others, i am sorry if you already knew about upgrade hotkeys. oh.. wait well the hotkey for engineer was L, it goes q(dart) w(boomerang), e(bomb),r(tack), t(ice) y(glue), u(hero(you can select at any point in battle the hero with same hotkey)), a-g magic, h-L support, z-m military i never remember what are the hotkeys for monkey powers since i almsot never use them, and ig i don't spawn bloons with hotkeys in sandbox either, but there are hotkeys for that, you can customize them, i wrote down the default ones, you just go through menu and there is hotkeys oh, another thing is that paragons have maximum requirements as well, to get max solo paragon you need 150 upgrades(base monkey counts as upgrade as well), 250k spent in upgrades, and 16,4 milion pops, if i recall correctly, then other power comes from t5 monkeys, on which the upgrades aren't counted towards paragon level, you need 12 t5s for paragon degree 100, well geraldos paragon totems from level 20 also contribute to paragon power, so you can skip out on some requirement, for example you can get degree 100 paragon in solo, compensating for lack of t5s by the totems, sadly i forgot how much one contributes... You can also explode the sentries by placing a second one or by selling one which deals 30k damage at degree one. Also you can pick up a sentry in a special poperations heli pilot with the door gunner monkey knowledge
ultraboosted sentry engineers produce turrets faster and there turrets shoot faster also im pretty sure, sentries will spawn even with little space by making a clump and the black moabs are ddts, they are camo leads. the xxl trap (tier 5) is needed for moab class bloons

The monkey with the pin upgrade doesn't do damage over time but stun them for a quick second.

Rd 24 is the first camo. You dont really need it until rd 33 (i think)for The foam. You can also close the umbrella by clicking it at the bottom
Your strongest monkeys are still targeting "First" Rather than "Strong". The Sentries also inherit targeting from the parent monkey.

Ultraboosting an engineer monkey does effect the turrets, kinda. It makes it so the engineer deploys more turrets.

IIRC the "market" track for the banana plantations also collect nearby bananas automatically, so they are useful to have one in every cluster.

Matt, you need to read your upgrades. If you're going to have that many farms, you should have done something like 0-2-3+ or 2-0-3+ instead of 3-2-0, because the bottom row has stuff like auto-collect, and interest. Glad you remembered to fund your engineers this time, though.

Mostly using engineers as a primary damage source rather than as support, but it's a good bit. Also overclock the sentry engineer, when u overclock it it shoots faster. It placing a sentry is considered shooting. Since sentries only last a short time, if it shoots faster it can have more sentries on the ground at once!
one of my favourite late game strats is putting tons of snipers in an area that is usually useless and upgrading them 2,2,0
i often start with 2 snipers on 0-2-3 and they clean the waves pretty fast

The valuable bananas upgrade on the banana farm only makes a real difference when you have a plantation (tier 3 top path), before then you should just place down more 2-0-0 farms (tier 2 on the top path).

Hey RCE, I have a tip for you.
Spam bloon traps. They're a really good alt eco option, abd destroy bloons. XXXL Trap is also a good investment as it can absorb blimps, up to either a ZOMG or DDT (if visible).
Spamming traps only gets you so far, since only the XXL trap can nab Moab and traps are useless against BADs. So yes good idea to have some, but if normal Bloons aren’t ever reaching a trap than it is wasted potential
The laser turret attacks everything that crosses its line, not just the end of the laser! The end does get a damage boost, but you want the Bloons to stay on the line as long as possible to hit many at once! So it is best to put it at the end of a long straight path and target the other end.

One singular MOAB will come at round 40. There won't be anymore than that on Easy mode.
The guys with the caps are rolling stock engineers with their bump caps. A hard hat is often too big to wear when your under a train
there is a slightly faster way to place down units in the game, hotkeys. every tower is bound to a key. the engineer for instance is bound to L. keep experipenting with towers and soon you'll figure out some really good combos.
0:40 It is confirmed that all monkeys are able to swim but they can‘t use thier full bloon popping potential while swimming.
top tree farm increases yield of those around it, then when the bar is red on the bottom of the banks they are full and ready to collect, also monkey farmes will auto collect bananas in range

p2 Ability cooldown from 90s to 60s, limited to 2 uses per round, and ability no longer includes a debt. (this relates to the ability for the t4 upgrade)
p3 Generates the same amount of money as a Central Market, but adds $4000 and 10 lives at the end of each round. Also automatically gathers nearby collectibles like a Banana Farmer would.
12:11 sentries will always spawn, even if they have to spawn on top of a tower, so it is worth it (also they have no hitbox)
the monkeypolios is an upgrade for the moneky city and it will consume all the banana farms in it's radius and produces the same money. It can free up a lot of space
Caution on rounds 24 because there is a camo bloon round 28 and 30 there are lots of leads and on round 33 there is lots of camo Bloons after round 40 every twenty rounds there is a new blimp 40 is Moab 60 is BFB 80 ZOMG 100 BAD 140 fortified bad this will help you with rounds to be cautious of.
the fast black bloons are camo and steel, you need more foam engineers or a village that lets monkeys attack steel and camo
The 0-2-5 banana farm collects bananas for you but not all but it is nice

Jesus Christ, getting to round 420 would probably take him an entire day of just recording and honestly he wouldn’t be able to do it with just the engineer monkey. Exponential growth goes hard after round 200 in BTD6
Round 420 needs VTSG and a bunch if other temples, etc. It also takes ages because it’s really laggy getting there.
Pin is not a damage over time. It is a stalling attack that stops the balloons where they are at.

the big blue bloons are MOABs, the red ones are BFBs, the black and green ones are ZOMGs, the fast all black ones are DDTs, and the purple ones are BADs.
RCE a good rule of thumb in this game is, the bigger the tier, the better the tower/more efficient
For example: one turret champion or whatever, is better than his price worth of centry experts, that are more efficient than their price worth of base engeneers.
Of course this isn't true for every moment but in general it is true for
1. Engeneers
2. Banana farms.
So take that into consideration (or not) and keep up with the great uploads
a little tip, try pressing the little yellow lightning icon next to to the "start round" button, it might make you life a lot easier when it comes to picking up bananas. as someone that can never get enough farms, i can testify to that it's deffinetly worth it
fun fact: all monkeys can swim but they prefer not to because it's hard to attack while swimming and pat can be placed on water because he is a fluffy floaty boi and yes ninja kiwi actually said it
Tip: Next time you wanna farm you should start a bit sooner, get an engi or 2-3 atleast 1 cleansing and spend a bit less on defense cuz look how easy u took out the moab.
What the banana central does is it gives a load of money himself, i think arround 1400 per crate, it also buffs the ammount the facilitys make, normal: 300 per, central buff: 487
Merchantmen is an upgrade for the boat to turn it into a hybrid boat/farm tower.
You need more cleansing foams than Bloon traps as the regular traps don't affect the Moabs, which have consistently been your weakness.
Some tips:
Sentries don't take up any space, the engineers will try to put them in positions that aren't already taken up by other towers, but if they have no other option they will just place them inside other towers
There is a power called the banana farmer that you can buy for 50 monkey money, they are very useful because they can pick up bananas and crates from top path farms for you
Use middle path villages to buff your towers
It's more efficient to place one banana farm before upgrading it to 2-0-0 then place down more farms, than it is to place down more banana farms without upgrading the previous one first
Monkey Wall Street also picks up banana for you, so you can build one market and surround it with BRDs and never have to pay it any attention again.
Knwo whats the fun thing to do with the enginners, use overcloak on your farms.

usually a good idea to get banana farmer in the power-up area so you don't have to get the bananas anymore
Bug: if you buy sentry gun then upgrade larger service area, the engineer will still only place turret in the base range.
The pain watching all those bananas go to waste at round 40
I believe there is a bug with the engineer where the more range doesnt affect the sentries placement if the sentries upgrade is bought first so buy the better range first then the sentries upgrade
The merchantmen is an upgrade of the pirate ship
It is more cost efficient to upgrade your banana farms to 2-0-0 before you buy a new one
and also when selling said farms, you gain money by upgrading to 2-0-2 before selling them
I don't know whether or not Geraldo would be available to your method of playing the game, but he sells engineering marvels and at level 20 he can sell totems which could empower your paragon.
my suggestion would be to look at hotkeys, since it's so much easier to play, since for example , is for upgrade top path, . is for upgrade middle path, / is for upgrade bottom path, i think you found the hotkey for engineer last video on btd6, same for abilities i think, also yea many maps have interactable things, some are purely visual, others have actual use, for example saudas sword on ravine, buttons on flooded valley, crusher on scrapyard, and few others, i am sorry if you already knew about upgrade hotkeys.
oh.. wait well the hotkey for engineer was L, it goes q(dart) w(boomerang), e(bomb),r(tack), t(ice) y(glue), u(hero(you can select at any point in battle the hero with same hotkey)), a-g magic, h-L support, z-m military
i never remember what are the hotkeys for monkey powers since i almsot never use them, and ig i don't spawn bloons with hotkeys in sandbox either, but there are hotkeys for that, you can customize them, i wrote down the default ones, you just go through menu and there is hotkeys
oh, another thing is that paragons have maximum requirements as well, to get max solo paragon you need 150 upgrades(base monkey counts as upgrade as well), 250k spent in upgrades, and 16,4 milion pops, if i recall correctly, then other power comes from t5 monkeys, on which the upgrades aren't counted towards paragon level, you need 12 t5s for paragon degree 100, well geraldos paragon totems from level 20 also contribute to paragon power, so you can skip out on some requirement, for example you can get degree 100 paragon in solo, compensating for lack of t5s by the totems, sadly i forgot how much one contributes...

You can also explode the sentries by placing a second one or by selling one which deals 30k damage at degree one. Also you can pick up a sentry in a special poperations heli pilot with the door gunner monkey knowledge

the black moabs are ddts, they are camo leads. the xxl trap (tier 5) is needed for moab class bloons
You can click the umbrellas and they go down.
Bottom path with middle is best path for engineer. Get a trap right up front (also get extended range allows you to choose the trap placement)
When he was spamming banana farms, I imagine him slowly turning into player 3.
Turrets don’t have hitboxes so you don’t need any room
RCE you can get a tower called monkey farmer that collects bananas for you
You can also sell the turrets if you need the space for another tower
