Tips: Your big trap in the front couldn’t grab the black camo moabs because the cleanser was too far back. Also your overclock ability stacks up to 10 times which should be used as soon as it’s recharged for max effectiveness. Keep using it on the same monkey until it’s maxed.

You should try to get level 100 paragon on engineer you need 16 million pops out of all engineer monkeys each banana is 4 pops and you need $250,000 worth of upgraded engineer monkeys and 4 players with all tier 5s or Geraldo level 20 totems like 40 times if you want u can see a tutorial
For being an engineer, matt surely does play BTD like an proper architect 😂.
Like i love the entertainment value , the strategic value is something left to be desired 😂
As a seasoned Bloons player, it's a struggle watching anyone play this game who isn't ISAB, Reed, Flare etc

I would love to understand the train of logic that leads to "lets spread the *remove camo* effect around the map" instead of stacking instances of it at the entrance to get 100% of bloons with it and letting the rest of the engineers interact with them normally.
question: do camo balloons pop out of the bigger thingies? or will those always be without camo?
@@wullivieh there is one MOAB - CLASS bloon that spawns came bloons that comes on round 90, but other than that its a 100% normal bloons from moabs
@@emese-evapepel3587it's de DDT (the black one) that spawn camo Bloons, but they are not so hard if you use monkeys with anti camo skills, or with camo vision.
Everyone else is making notes about placement and crosspathing, so I’ll give you a new note: you know the ultraboost monkey? Well if you use the ability on a farm, it produces more bananas. So make a 520 farm and target it with your ultraboost again and again to really rake in the cash
The Bloons you died to were DDTs and have camo and lead properties meaning you need the cleansing foam to allow the other engineers to pop them!(This is also why the big trap couldn't take them in)
Also it's better to have the foam at the start so they are instantly DeCamoed and DeLeaded
I did a test and it's not quite this. The DDTs get decamoed by cleaning foam but are still immune to everything except the XXXL trap and sentry champion. Just need that cleansing foam before either (or probably both) of these two.
@andrewjarvis1241 I think that maybe coz they still have the lead property hence why only lead popping monkeys can hit them🤷♂️
@@undyingb0554 yep, and also DDTs have black property so the pure bomb shooters of the sentry expert don't do damage either. Those pesky DDTs!
This was also your very first problem with the purples! Which you figured out but I just want to confirm that it was because they were camo and you only had like 1 cleansing foam at the time
@@andrewjarvis1241 Agreed, I know the camo of DDT can be removed, but I don't think it can removed the lead properties of DDTs. My usual go to for DDTs initial counter is the mortar, since one of their upgrade could just shatter the camo and fortified properties of the fortified DDTs, massively reducing their HP pool.

Monkeys placed in incredibly inefficient places early round, banana farms upgraded 4-2-0, and foam being spread around the map instead of at the beginning😭😭😭 was a fun watch tho lol

Engineers imo are like the most underrated and amazing towers. They're great for early game, middle game, and even a bit of lategame, and have a paragon for even later game and boss events. Engineer is good 👍
Honestly, Engineers are my favorites along with the nail layers. I love spamming them in one area and upgrading them to place turrets loads of overpowered turrets, and just place a bunch of nail layers everywhere.
Hey RCE, if you crosspath middle (Larger Service Area) on your Bloon Traps you can manually place them! This is good for putting them as far front in the radius that you can so you capture more bloons and fill traps faster. Also, Cleansing Foam synergizes with traps. Not only can you place two foams on top of each other to coat more bloons, you can also place them just before or even ON bloon trap spots to catch camos without the help of a camo Village!

Ah yes, the infamous round 69. One slip of the tongue at this stage and you're in deep shit.
You want all your cleansers placed so that they can see the very entry of the map and target the foam there, as well as some of it a little more back, because of the time it takes to deploy at the start of every round. Then you want traps on both sides of the entry at around round 30, they are only there to make money and NOT to defend (there are better options later). You crosspath the traps to 2-0-4 so they redeploy faster after the trap went full. The reason for everything being so close to the entrance is that the traps will eat everything up before the blooms get hit by anything for maximum money from the traps and I have heard that engineer like efficiency! Actual Defense you want to build just before the MOAB comes in at round 40. for that you should use the top path engineer and crosspath it with the middle path so it gains extra MOAB damage. At around round 60 you can sell one of the traps, because they aren’t efficient anymore at that point, but keep the other one to upgrade it to the tier 5 later! At round 60 you should afford the 5-2-0 Engineer. Now you would want to save up for the overlock upgrade on one of your existing cleansers to overclock the centry champion. After you got that it is epic Lategame time an you should get the XXL Trap as well as the ultra boost. And then it’s paragon time …

You opted to place the cleansing foam by the entrance. This is a sub-optimal decision as a 230 engineer’s only late game potential is as an over clock or ultraboost, both of which are meant to buff other towers, and hence should not be given the important front positions. It is ok to put a bunch of the by the entrance for decamo- still don’t know why you didnt- but to put them in such good spots is sub-optimal.
Now, I see you appear to struggle with DDTs (the big black fast things) a lot, this is primarily due to a lack of cam detection. There are many solutions that would fix this without non-engineers getting pops:
1. A ninja paragon in the corner (it gives global cameo detection)
2. Etienne in the corner (gives global camo detection, however, he gains a perma-UCAV at lvl 20 so be sure to sell and rebuy him before then) he is not recommended however, as he is French
3. Geraldo in the corner (he fixes all your problems, and helps with farming as well)
This is pretty much the only game I actually play, (probably too much) and I love that you decided to play! Keep up the great content!

To make the most money, you should begin with an engineer close to the start. Leak camos-you wont die to them, and you can get lives back with central markets if you have a specific monkey knowledge point- and rush a bloon trap. This is the best way to make early game money, and the easiest farming method from there on out is to keep putting down 203 market places. When you can though, sell them for a 420, then work towards a 520. Overclock the farms as much as you can.

Tier 3 bottom path can handle a steady stream of blues.
As a experienced btd6 player this is agonizing to watch just like architects 🤣
Day thirty three of asking Matt to add the Second Narrows Bridge, Ironworkers Memorial to the Wheel of Bridgetune
It is a cantilevered truss bridge, carrying 6 lanes of traffic from Vancouver to North Vancouver in B.C. across the second narrowing of the Burrard Inlet.
It's name comes from the fact that it collapsed twice during construction, which unalived 23 people in total (Hence the name, ironworkers memorial).

If this is revisited, using the oversized nails early in the path, then when you have the upgrade menu up change them to "strongest" so they will deal the highest damage to the strongest Bloons, then the sentry units later to take volume. Also explore the monkey village to provide boosted stuff to the engineers. And the yellow lightning at the bottom you can get a monkey that auto collects your banana farms in their range (the monkey village has a buff to nearby monkeys range, this applies to that one time banana collector as well, and 2 villages will increase each other's range as well, for some fun mechanics of the game) just ways to enhance only using engineer to destroy the game.
The monkey village can give the engineers the ability to see camo Bloons which means you could work around the soapy bubbles from the engineer.
Monkey village boosts amount of money gained by nearby as well, and if you click on the bloontrap when it fills you gain money from that. Can also explore various banana farm paths, mixing some end paths enhance others. (if I'm not mistaken there's a monkey druid ability that affects banana farms) so you can get your $550K going.
Start with one banana farm, up grade the top path twice, repeat until you have six 2-0-0 banana farms, upgrade one at a time to market place then central market, save for fifth tier bottom path then sell all banana farms except the 2-0-5, surround with 4-2-0 banana farms, buy 5-2-0 as well as an ultra boost, ultra boost 5-2-0 to ten stacks

The best way to farm, if going for top path farms, is getting one farm at a time, upgrading to 200 before getting the next.

You can target the Bloons trap using a 0 1 4 engineer monkey.

Etienne is a drone operating hero tower I'm not tiredly sure where drone operator falls but at level 8 he gives all towers camo detection.
So could you try doing this challenge again but playing with him as your hero

Your strongest towers namely the sentry champion ND the big blood trap couldn't hit it till was leaving because it didn't get decamoed by the cleansing foam otherwise you probably would have been fine

Technically he reverse-clickbaited us. His actual pop count was 1925376 (in the total damage count at the end screen). The pop count at the end screen shows how many individual bloons were *fully* popped.

You could use a bananamonekey at the yellow flash, who will collect all bananas so you don't have to worry about collecting them 🤗
As a bit of info for Matt, the yellow flash is the powers button, which allows you to access the powers, like the Super Monkey Storm, the Tech Bot, and even the Banana Farmer as mentioned by the main comment. There's also a thing called Boss Events, which allows you to go up against one of the Bosses, like the Lych King, the Bloonarius, Dreadbloon, the Vortex, or even the time-twisting Phayze.
