I think Essence’s behavior will get better as she adjusts to the new place. New territories can be scary and intimidating for new pets, especially younger animals. A lot of dogs also tend to dribble/urinate uncontrollably when they’re happy, sad, nervous, change of environments… (which I know you know that already) and a lot of times they don’t grow out of it. My 7 year old dog pees EVERY time my brothers come and visit and then she hides from them she’ll usually hide until they leave.

Puppy training is extremely difficult. Whether you have a partner or not to help assist you. My baby (Bamboo) was just like Essence. All the screaming, peeing every few minutes. It takes a lot of time and consistency. I’ve never had a dog act like her before. It was mentally challenging. YOU GOT THIS!!! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!

Try not to use the crate as a punishment they do not learn that way, whenever Essence pees inside do not scold her you have to run her outside and make sure she understands outside = potty & always reward when she potties outside she might be getting adjusted to the new move. I was just gonna type this ! My new puppy is 10 weeks and I know his schedule so I run him out when he has to pee now he is starting to become potty trained and know that outside = potty. I want him to like his crate so I do not use it as punishment! I just reward when he goes potty outside and it’s working !

I really hope she rehomes Essence. I am afraid what she does to those dogs when the camera isn't on and Jordan is not home... She should have done her research before she got them and watch training videos on youtube. If her dog is constantly peeing, there also might be some medical issue going on. She keeps those dogs in crates all the time and exposes them to toxic chemicals and scents non stop. Some scents are also toxic for dogs, but i'm sure she doesn't care.

You can buy a mattress protector that fits over the bed like a pillowcase, it zips over the mattress, Amazon or mattress stores, you can even buy a mattress moving bag when you move again it's a life saver! Also go over the high traffic areas with eggshell paint it's cleans so nicely & doesn't have a super shiny finish. I'm so happy your mom is getting some solid rest & so sorry to hear about the fire. After I moved out my parents and having a great job I developed a shopping addiction and it came from me not having much growing up so u just felt the need to bu y everything I never had so now that I’m 24 going to malls is boring to me even when my child’s father/boyfriend tries to take me shopping I don’t even want anything anymore. People don’t understand growing up in poverty does things to people in their adulthood Im glad you’re working on it it takes time especially you have a great paying job!

I want to preface this by saying that I am not a dog trainer or expert. If i am not mistaken, Essence is an aussiedoodle. She is a mix of a very intelligent breed, and a working breed. I have a German Shepard who does a lot of the similar behaviors you were talking about (pacing, crying, yawing etc..). When it comes to intelligent working breeds they need to be stimulated. This means A TON of physical stimulation (long walks/runs) as well as mental stimulation (frozen lick pads are great for this, hiding treats in toys, as well as teaching tasks). Working dogs have it in their DNA that they are supposed to be doing a job (for a herder like australian shepards, she thinks she us supposed to be on a farm herding live stock). The name of the game is keeping her moving and using her brain. A tired dog, is a well behaved dog 😊. I incorporated some of these things and it made a HUGE impact. Look up frozen lick mats and dog treat dispenser toys 👍
I wanted to add that Australian Shepards are not easy dogs, but can be wonderful companions with the right techniques. I commend you for your patience and love. I know you guys will figure it out 😊.

Hi Chloe! I love the relationship you have with your mom. It reminds me so much of the relationship I have with my daughter. Your puppies are adorable too. I had a poodle mix and she didn't calm down until she was about 3 years old lol. But they are the best and smartest puppers. My baby crossed the rainbow bridge about three years ago and I miss her so much. I know they can be a lot, but once they are gone, you wish they were still around to greet you with with all the joy, happiness and unconditional love. Essence might be peeing because she's scared. She may be acting up because of the move. My dog ran away twice when we moved to a new home. Luckily my neighbors found her both times. Praying that it gets better with little Essence.

Highly recommend training your pup with Zak George’s youtube videos. Dogs don’t understand timeout or spankings. They learn from being rewarded! She may be peeing out of fear, not because you’re bad to her but just because dogs read off emotion. I had so much trouble with my dog and realized that all he needed was to be trained. The more you use the crate as punishment, the more she will hate it and be fearful. Girl, look up Zak George, he saved my life! 🤗

One issue with many dogs coming from a breeder is inbreeding that will cause a lot of issues as well. Behavior issues and training issues. They can test for that as well.
My maltipoo had that problem. So basically I got a playpen from Amazon and filled it with training pads. Everyday I removed a pad until there was one pad left and then eventually she peed on just the one pad. Now she will use the pad if she needs to and then she will go outside as well. Also when my puppy was adjusting to a new environment after I moved, she peed a lot as well so it could just be her nerves 💖 give her time to adjust.

I went from drinking alcohol, to drugs, to shopping. I was constantly on the search for a dopamine hit. The addictive personality is proven genetic on both sides of my family. That and growing up poor had me in this scarcity mindset that I had to buy all of the things I wanted/got a good deal on. It took going to therapy to see it and I’m currently in the process of dropping the mindset completely. Material possessions don’t make you a happy person.

I want to preface this by saying that I am not a dog trainer or expert. If i am not mistaken, Essence is an aussiedoodle. She is a mix of a very intelligent breed, and a working breed. I have a German Shepard who does a lot of the similar behaviors you were talking about (pacing, crying, yawing etc..). When it comes to intelligent working breeds they need to be stimulated. This means A TON of physical stimulation (long walks/runs) as well as mental stimulation (frozen lick pads are great for this, hiding treats in toys, as well as teaching tasks). Working dogs have it in their DNA that they are supposed to be doing a job (for a herder like australian shepards, she thinks she us supposed to be on a farm herding live stock). The name of the game is keeping her moving and using her brain. A tired dog, is a well behaved dog 😊. I incorporated some of these things and it made a HUGE impact. Look up frozen lick mats and dog treat dispenser toys 👍
I wanted to add that Australian Shepards are not easy dogs, but can be wonderful companions with the right techniques. I commend you for your patience and love. I know you guys will figure it out 😊.

Hi Chloe! I love the relationship you have with your mom. It reminds me so much of the relationship I have with my daughter. Your puppies are adorable too. I had a poodle mix and she didn't calm down until she was about 3 years old lol. But they are the best and smartest puppers. My baby crossed the rainbow bridge about three years ago and I miss her so much. I know they can be a lot, but once they are gone, you wish they were still around to greet you with with all the joy, happiness and unconditional love. Essence might be peeing because she's scared. She may be acting up because of the move. My dog ran away twice when we moved to a new home. Luckily my neighbors found her both times. Praying that it gets better with little Essence.

Highly recommend training your pup with Zak George’s youtube videos. Dogs don’t understand timeout or spankings. They learn from being rewarded! She may be peeing out of fear, not because you’re bad to her but just because dogs read off emotion. I had so much trouble with my dog and realized that all he needed was to be trained. The more you use the crate as punishment, the more she will hate it and be fearful. Girl, look up Zak George, he saved my life! 🤗

One issue with many dogs coming from a breeder is inbreeding that will cause a lot of issues as well.
Behavior issues and training issues. They can test for that as well.

My maltipoo had that problem. So basically I got a playpen from Amazon and filled it with training pads. Everyday I removed a pad until there was one pad left and then eventually she peed on just the one pad. Now she will use the pad if she needs to and then she will go outside as well. Also when my puppy was adjusting to a new environment after I moved, she peed a lot as well so it could just be her nerves 💖 give her time to adjust.

I went from drinking alcohol, to drugs, to shopping. I was constantly on the search for a dopamine hit. The addictive personality is proven genetic on both sides of my family. That and growing up poor had me in this scarcity mindset that I had to buy all of the things I wanted/got a good deal on. It took going to therapy to see it and I’m currently in the process of dropping the mindset completely. Material possessions don’t make you a happy person.
you are the one person who had opened my eyes. i’ve gone to church and never had anything explained to me.. i was judged.. i always thought the lord didn’t exist because of how much hurt and pain i’ve gone through, and all that people normally talk about from the lord is good.. and i never understood that the pain and hurt that i let sit and torment me was the devil not the Lord.. I didn’t realize that everything I learned from and didn’t let bring me down was just the devil testing me. i didn’t know jesus wasnt in the form of flesh.. i didn’t know anyyyy of this. and now it makes me cry, because i know i have no done what im supposed to.. and i worry it’s too late for jesus to forgive me.
