I'm on school holiday so I'm gonna watch the sunset and watch the stars and venus everday and wonder if the each star I look at there's a high possibility there's a planet orbiting that star:) happyskygazing
Lovely update thank you! Watching these always takes me back to watching The Sky At Night with Sir Patrick Moore when I was young. So much to look forward to!
@@triestwildriders5922 belgium sucks, since commenting this i havent had a single clear night and the long term forecast only says rain and clouds for atleast 1-2 weeks

Though I don't live there, I'm impressed that you don't forget the Southern hemisphere! Bet my cousin in Australia would be impressed! 😊💯 I'm a first-time viewer of your channel, and so far, I like what I see!
Thanks for this Alyn. Unfortunately, our skies here in Vegas have been filled with clouds or 25 knot winds blowing when the moon isn't up in the sky. 3 months now I've been trying to test my modified D810 Nikon.
So July it's possible to see/ photograph the Andromeda Galaxy again? I'm still fairly new to this but managed to get a stacked photo of Andromeda a few months ago from England. I'm looking forward to trying again now I've upgraded camera to a Sony a7iii
holy shit lmfao i feel bad for you i thought that 48°42' is already so far to north that i don't get astro darkness for 2 weeks and you can't even view anywhere near the milky way core
Living in South Wales, with South facing waters, it's not so easy to get a clear Northern horizon for the noctilucent clouds. I have considered trying Rhossili, where the sea horizon is slightly North facing (toward Pembrey). But I am not sure how successful that idea will be. Anyway, as a fellow South Walian, what would be your advice? Do you have to head for the hills to get a clear Northern horizon to see these clouds?
You got any tips for a good goto telescope just for watching the stars and planets? I'm not into astrophotography for myself. So just a scope for stargazing. Thx already, love your content!
I am big fan of your vids i am watching every single vid from a year. Can you please make a video on mobile astrophotography (for people who can not afford profetional cameras, lences, etc)Please🙁
sir I know you always take pictures of orion , Pleiades, Andromeda , horsehead galaxy and Milkyway galaxy with your DSLR . If you start using telescope you can take many deep sky objects . I know that takes few hours like 3-5 hour to complete taking and processing . But it's okay it your option ( Sir you need a telescope , a camera and a light pollution fliter ) Sir you no need to dark sky you can do it in your house itself And the most important thing you need to set a budget to buy a telescope and a light pollution fliter like 500 euros to 1000 euros your option to set a budget .
Anyone here have advice to adapting a Nikon D3500 to take an intervalometer or any other device that’ll let me take interval shots? Will be so gutted if it can’t!
Venus, I am almost certain, has a higher lumens level (is that the right term? Or is that just for flashlights/torches and lightbulbs?) than Sirius does. That's my "vote." But people could easily just hit their favorite search engine (mine's Ecosia [dot org] or even Ekoru [also dot org]) and look up the brightness comparison, LOL! You made it too easy! 😄
....but will be able to see oligarch Sir, mustn't forget the Sir, Richard Branson's circumnavigations of our globe with his super rich cronies on the 11th of July? His ego should cast shadows down here!
I'll tell you what gonna be in my night sky. Clouds. Clouds since February 😭
I'm sure this month is gonna be amazing for astrophotography
@belly tripper what is that supposed to mean?
This is by far one of my favorite astro channels out there he doesn't rush trough things I like the monthly night sky things

Great stuff. Heading down to Kerry dark sky reserve next week so this is invaluable. Cheers Alyn
I live in a bortle 4, but near marshlands. Don't forget your bug spray. i tend to skip the summer seasons, the bugs are really bad here in Maryland.
Whats in the night sky for july? Well clouds, clouds as far as the eye reaches.
Lol 😆 that's true, from the beginning of the summer there have been just a pair of completely clear nights and often during full moon 🥺🤷♂️😂
