Hey Holly! I’m so sorry to hear you’ve had a bad selling experience. It’s so deflating when you work so hard and see the good in everyone and then they disappoint you. I think we have all been there (I have believe me and I just wanted to give up). BUT I remind myself that the world is made up of many different people - some good and some not so good. BUT you are one of the good ones. Take some time to process how you feel and then accept that they did something out of order BUT that is also no reflection on you as a person or an artist - it reflect them only. Don’t give up but take time to accept the experience as a learning situation, a time to help build up your resilience and a time for you to also release you won’t change and you’ll continue to look for the good in people. Take care and come back soon my friend stronger and showcase your creativity 🙏💛

Well Mark I really love the black white and gray one you showed us it was quite stunning. And this one here with the gold it is just as beautiful I'm loving both of them. I had every size of Marvel you could think of and I had my husband bring me home some some ball bearings that were small but heavier than a Marvel I think I probably had my paint too thick it just didn't want to seem to roll very good through the paint so I found that a smaller ball bearing works better for me. The desert gorgeous.

I’m yet to see a piece of yours I didn’t like and this doesn’t disappoint! You make it look so easy… the swipe is a bit intimidating but I’ve been fascinated by the marble.
Thank you so much Marylyn! Ok so just puddle first and then try the marble without the swipe. Once you’ve mastered the marble, then add in the swipe next time. When I swipe I put only a little bit of pressure on the palette knife and it literally glides across the paint. Hope

Thanks so much. I could do a video but I’m conscious that here in the UK we might not get the same brands as elsewhere in the world. I get a lot of my canvases as deep edge (not always gallery wrapped) from Loxley Arts. I also get some from Hobbycraft. I’ll defo bear this in mind when speaking about canvases. I take that their canvases are good stuff to use? As you are using them yourself?
@@Mad.Chemist ok great! So for best best if I want to sell a piece for a higher price I use gallery wrapped from Loxley Arts. Hobbycraft are also great, I always 99% of time go for deep edge as I love that type of finish to a piece. If you’re just playing around and experimenting then canvases from The Works are ok - if you don’t want to sell the pieces afterwards as I feel they are cheaper quality in terms of longevity. The Range do a good selection and I’d say they are middle range same as Hobbycraft 😊

I loved it! Mark do you just use you phone to record. I'm trying to learn how to zoom in and out on my work as I'm working. Do you stop with bluetooth then move you Cama or phone? I'd love to see what you use. I do know how to edit I just would love to know how and what you do when making videos. If you don't mind. Loved the color palette. Hope you use a color palette I've sent.
Thanks so much Jamie 😊 I record everything on my phone and also edit on my phone. I do use a couple of camera angles now to help vary things but use lumafusion or iMovie for my editing - hope that helps 😊
