I learned to like the song Summerbreeze listening to them. Also check out the Cult, English band from the same area, should also have some great potensial for cool remixes.

This should be engraved onto a gold disc and sent into space. The Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead track is just so sublimely inspired a brilliant playlist one that I can't keep returning to enough
Also, I JUST HAVE TO shout out our consistent tall black friend that is at almost every BCR show. I am OBSESSED with their presence I love it so much. So glad they were super visible during Jojos set

I’m a goth at heart and I used to go to this club in Tampa that would play gothic dance music called The Castle. So this mix was heavily inspired by that.
I have experienced so many DJ,s as an old timey raver. You have a unique quality of hearing a beat and sharing a mix and heart. The best i can say, is i put my arms air. What a talent.

Showing our age here, but TBH JO JO & Tinzo play these tracks remixed to their superb max and they sound as good now as they did over 30 years ago. Blown away this mixing........... Rge Acid tracks, bring back memories of our early rave days in the 80's. nearly 40 years on and we are still stomping to these track. Thank u Jo Jo for playing these tracks that sound as good today as they did back in the 80's and 90's. @ 34 mins in " work it to the bone" our first acid house trip back in 1988 in an underground club *not dissimilar to The book Club. You guys bring emotions of joy back to the days of raving away to these tracks. Thank you!!!!

I think the thing I like the most about book club radio is that while yes it is a dj set, it does not revolve just around house/techno music, I mean of course there are elements of house in a lot of the songs but this is a dj set for people who love music in general and it brings people together.
