Every Diss Explained From Drakes "Scary Hours 3" EP Album

- Drake dropped Scary Hours 3 two days ago! This was definitely his redemption arc. You guys really enjoyed the last video that I did in this style so I'm giving it another shot! I took some time to go through it and break down the subliminal and more obvious disses.
If you are into the Chicago Drill scene, you should check out my good friends new video that he just dropped on the history of how it all went down ! ruclips.net/video/WDQIe6n0FSs/видео.htmlsi=b75kFiV1mHjgeWw5
I liked this EP. These songs should’ve been on his album. Like people love Drake because he’s drake. Him just throwing whoever’s hot on his album just comes off as you trying to stay relevant. It’s not like people can’t say he can’t rap anymore an this proved it. Give the people some nostalgic vibes. That’s all. CLB was better than this album he just did. The mixes even sounded weird like they were rushed.
You got one more day!😂
Ima subscribe but I need to see that vid tomorrow
It's not a preppy dork. That's probably YT culture. The cool & well off black kids dressed like that. Most people that was kinda cool know that BLACK kids that dressed like that weren't "preppy dorks".
Is he really a billionaire?
Scary hours is 100% why this battle is going down rn.
Fr he knew someone was gonna stab him in his back
@@mightygoat1 crazy how red button foreshadowed everything that followed. From Kendrick to the lawsuit.
Also on Wick Man, at the very begging he says "empty clips"
Homophonically, Drake plays with the homophones “clips” and “clipse” to allude the hip-hop duo Clipse.
Drake then makes a double entendre with the line “Empty clips” to reference the duo’s disbandment in 2010 and to allude to him firing bullets at the duo, as proven by the line “Shell cases scatter the floor, bullets, they shatter the glass” in the first verse.
Exactly! I didn’t see anyone else mention this but I always heard it as ‘empty clipse’
Finally someone who not only reads the lyrics but truly understands their deeper meaning and the hidden messages woven within
Also FATD was fire! If you're tired of the oldschool, abc rap pattern you will appreciate the range of how Drake delivers many of those "mid" songs
He missed the Heavens Gate reference
“Finally”… because it’s never happened before, you were previously the only person that read and understood lyrics’ deeper meanings.
@@billionaire7781both albums 2/10. Just ass.
LMAOO bro this is like 3rd year English
Push said everytime he hears a sub from Drake he enjoys because he’s like yes it still burns. Drake just needs to say his name already if it’s still a problem.
That will summon Pusha and he doesn’t want another “Let it ring like…” situation again
So Pusha was clearly filled with rage since he “exposed” Drake’s kid. By your logic, Pusha too is a loser.

Joe Budden made Drake rap over Conductor beats like he Griselda. Idc what anyone says…this shit WAS NOT coming out if Joe Budden didn’t say what he said, and the fans agreed with Joe low key 😂
Yup! Everyone pretty much agreed with Uncle Joe 💯 He’s right about A-LOT of shit actually and he predicts a lot as well
HIGHKEY
8 am in Charlotte was produced by Conductor as well
You have absolutely no idea what you’re speaking of. Drake made this… not Joe.
Agreed
Thank you, not understanding the lyrics makes so many ppl think the song is corny. Drake is the biggest artist but his pen is the most underrated
NO IT IS NOT. HOW ARE YOU A TOP TIER LYRICIST WITH WRITERS? THIS VIDEO REACHES MORE THAN CHESS IN EARLY BATTLE RAP. YALL HAVE NO ACTUAL MUSIC KNOWLEDGE OR ANY CLUE OF LYRICISM. GET DRAKES SCROTUM EXTRACTED FROM YOUR ESOPHAGUS. “sO uNDErRated.” i can’t stand y’all 16-19 yr olds who have a shrine of drake in the crib. Mfs gas the most boring, average music ever.

The respect for Joe Budden is uncanny‼️ RESPECT 🙏🏾
I'm convinced Drake is gonna diss Pusha T at least once in every project for the rest of his career. I like him but it shows how salty he still is sadly.
I don’t think salty I think trigger for rappers getting out of line , like he referenced on this EP
@@FXM3nah he salty
Looking back at this I LOVE how you bet on yourself and knew that Kendrick and drake video would be your biggest video to date.
Beautifully crafted. Your work is incredible, first time on this channel and I’m hooked.
Hey Matt-relistening to this ep and “the shoe fits” was def subliminal at Kendrick in retrospect. The way he intentionally calls out a “Gemini” in regards to a verse about dv.
I absolutely agree with you!!!! There’s so many little shots like this that we missed!! Gotta revisit at some point
Drake helping Ye was a dream of Drakes.
Ye gave Drake his 1st #1 idky he never mentions that enough
Red button to me means “red budden” that pic of joe yelling🤷🏽♂️
He didn’t write all of these tracks in the last week. He performed you being my heart during his tour weeks ago saying it was going to be on for all the dogs
i’m pretty sure you had the best powerpoint presentation’s in class. the time and dedication put into the visuals is top tier !
Hahaha I’ve never actually used PowerPoint surprisingly enough lol thanks for the compliment though!!
On stories about my brother, there’s a part where Drake says “you’re not Kobe Bryant to us, at all” while kinda laughing and someone pointed out how Kobe, in an interview once, compared himself to Kendrick. Drake was stoking the fire and it wasn’t caught until now lol
He dissed Kanye on the song evil ways “beefing with a block that’s 500 feet away” referencing their location in Calabasas, and he also dissed Pharrell on that same song talking about this rapper’s jewelry is light & getting his jewelry re-appraised. He bought Pharrell’s jewelry at the auction.
Yup sure did surprised man didn’t catch that, that was a easy one
yo, iv been waiting so long for the new videos for so long that I'm watching everything else that you have posted
Track 3 “The Shoe Fits” definitely a ton of subliminals
Definitely snapped on niggas on shoe fits

I'm a Newfoundlander too, knew that accent as soon as I heard it. Great video!
The KDot bar (MAYBE) “You are not Kobe Bryant to us” - because of the song “B don’t kill my vibe” the remix with Jay-Z and the cover is Kobe and MJ. MJ - Jay and Kobe - K-Dot. It’s maybe, once again 👀
Or to Rick Ross and meek mill, they dropped a song called. "Shaq and Kobe" .
@@kevincastillo868Ross and Meek are cool with Drake
Man idk how I found your channel but you know hiphop brother you have a new subscriber keep grinding and happy holidays
So you forgot two other diss against joe budden pod. He diss joe when he came for his cohost parks when he said “Cliquein' up with haters that was thinkin' of signin' to us” parks is a producer before the pod . And produced on nothing was the same and there was talks of him signing to ovo. Also he dissed joe with the Kobe lines too . But I love that you broke this down . I been waiting on someone to do this.
Everyone always says parks produced for Drake but what songs did he produce for Drake?
I think the Kobe bars are to Kanye, referencing his “i feel like Kobe” shirt and lyrics on Qs song That Part
just gained a subscriber. Keep up the hard work. i'll be waiting for that movie!!
Dope man!! Welcome. Thank you!!
I watch everything you upload ngl quality to detail is unmatched.
You hit the nail on the head..They talk down about Joe sells..But every last one of them respect his pen..Including Drake he took his most known style from Joe..Being emo was Joe Budden mood muzik..When Drake took that shot at Joe back in the day joe put out like 3 diss records and Drake wanted no smoke..But Drake talk to Joe on live talking about how much he liked respect him..
Yeah...drake dont care no more lol
🧢
@Rayzeo What you capping for?You can literally look this up?Go to your music listen to Mood muzik..Also look up the diss records Joe put out..And people told Joe leave Drake alone he don't want to battle..And then Drake himself on live with Joe talk about he liked his music.Drake was hurt by Joe words because he respects his pen..Which why Drake dropped another album recently because he knows Joe was right..
😂 that is hilarious thinking Drake "took his most known style from Joe" 🤣 pump pump pump it up is Joe's most known style 😂
@@joelee6565 Go listen to all his mood muzik albums..Clearly you just know that one commercial hit but none of his real music
The fact that Drake performs better when he’s trying to prove himself to random dudes is just further revealing about the kind of person he is
What kind of person is he
@@protectyourpositivityhe’s the kind is person who needs validation en masse, that’s obvious here.
@@protectyourpositivitya successful person that wouldn’t be where he’s at if he didn’t play his cards right

Damn I thought you had insight on the “shoe fits” but thank you for bringing these to light.
This was the best EP or music he has put outside of her loss since NWTS. Outside of the last long the first 5 are 5/5 songs.
He also dissed Youngboy again on Stories About My Brother. He said “whine to J. Prince like some grape growers” referencing J Prince checking YB with Birdman about dissing Drake. He also said “cliqueing up with haters that were thinking of signing to us” referencing YB hanging out with iLoveMakkonen.
And you talked about it in the other vid but he also referenced YB saying “you my enemy” in his diss song by saying “next thing you know we creeping past enemy lines” on 8 am in Charlotte.
red button also a double meaning for a switch on a glock that makes it full auto
7:06 I don’t think the diss was for 6ix9ine, I think he was using the knowledge that 69 is a snitch as a way to diss someone else (maybe Gunna who snitched on young thug)
Honestly, Drake should avoid taking any shots at Pusha T... Mans not ready.
I don't think it'll ever be enough for Drake.
For those that haven’t watched the Kendrick and drake video, you have too 👏👏🔥🔥
Underated channel deserves a mill
Thank you for showing the respect Joe Budden deserves
When he says “And than we’ll see who’s really crazy” at the end of red button is a kanye diss
Waiting on that Kendrick Drake video
They won’t they have beef bro💀
Never coming he's been subliminally dissing him for 10 years
@@JonasYongisipho-tu6rtthe beef one sided Kendrick really gave Drizzy a compliment on control and Drake been trippin since
Kendrick always try to bait Drake in, but Drake just sends subliminal shots in return. Kendrick is kinda nice on the mic 😂
@@mikefrench7304 he don’t be baiting Drake.. he responded to him on that BET cypher cause drizzy did that rap radar interview throwin slugs talkin bout Kendrick aint keep the same energy. But on control Kendrick really complimented his peers.
Dope vid . He also dissed Pharrell when he spoke about buying an artist’s jewelry and getting it appraised just to find out it was cheaper than advertised
Joe was like the Allen Iverson of rap. Never got a ring but really showed out when it was game time.
I was your 1000th like. Great vid!
him saying “if i press this red button, dawg, everybody heaven gated” wasn’t a kayne diss that’s a reach😂 he’s just saying if he wanted to get everyone hit he could and it only takes a call/press of a button cuz he’s tied to the mob
Yeah the Jewish one
red button also refers to the “AIR” button when u recording w a mic or a camera, so he also saying everybody dying when he start spitting
"Its like an extortion record, more or less.."🤣🤣🤣You killed me bruh! Just subscribed, you just 'really get it' lol🔥🔥🔥🔥👌
I just wanna say Making A Murder was one of the illest diss tracks in rap history
I hope this EP gives Drake closure because everyone has moved on but him. Pusha and Ye on to the next. Hell because of Drakes rant Joe won’t even review the album which is a shame.
Nah, a lot of things happen behind the scenes that we don’t hear or see which is why Drake is using his music to call it out
@@FXM3true but we don’t care. And there’s also two sides.
Can’t wait to watch the Drake Kendrick video. Subbed
You broke my heart and stories about my brother are bangers 🔥
also, on "Red Button" when he says "Taylor Swift the only - that I ever rated", it ties into the Kanye diss because Kanye and Swift had beef for years, and she had a big album called "Red" in 2012, and she's currently doing better than Kanye
Don't forget Drake's Angie Martinez interview for the Kendrick Drake video, during the Control era. People always put the Elliot Wilson interview but forget how salty he sounded when she asked him about it.
Oh don’t worry I GOT IT!!!! That video makes an appearance a couple times throughout actually 👌
This is such a good channel for hip hop lovers

He disses Kendrick on stories about my brother too I think. The whole “you’re not Kobe Bryant to us” is a shot at Kendrick who has compared himself to Kobe before. Did a full interview with him where they compared each other and morphed his face onto his for heart pt 5.
U did a good job with the breakdowns.
Videos are fire bro 🔥
The mixing chemicals is Drake drinking and the more he drinks the more restraint he loses. He is that close to pushing the red button on Kanye
Today on RNM Pod Julian Suggested that the Very Opening Bars on "Red Button" could be about the Breakup Between Joe & RNM, when he said:
My drive is dedicated, your drive is designated
Niggas got you to the spot and then you separated
Reasons for it speculated, we know how it escalated
Rarely celebrated, grade eleven educated
The guy Julian may be on to something because those Bars match the scenario almost perfectly‼️🤔🤣 I'm just happy we got Drake Rapping again 💯 As always Great video, keep up the great work 👊🏽
His ghostwrite is on overtime!
Does it matter to you tho even if it were true? Lol
@@emanuelsanchez2501it would because I view Drake as a character, nothing about him is authentic.

That Kdot n drake beef is on slow bake it’s definitely a Cold War
5:12 “Calling me up to cap, this not a graduation” also alludes to being called up to the stage during a cap and gown ceremony during a high school or college graduation.

Great explanation but you missed a couple disses in stories about my brother, when he says "my brother better than everyone" he talks about J.Cole, and after this, he disses metro "making alliances with people thinking of signing to us" which also refers to The Weeknd. He also takes shots at kendrick when he says "Your last album was buns".

Enjoyed the video. I'm not a big Drake fan, I've never been. When I think of Toronto I first think of Kardinal, Choclair, and Bishop Brigante.
This is just part of “stories about my brother”:
So here's my decipher on the end of the song:
"Clicking up with haters that was signing to us".
Clique by Big Sean. Big Sean also signed to GOOD music with other people. Kendrick also was on Control with Big Sean, under GOOD Music, Kanye label. Kendrick first big tour was under Drake and people thought Drake wanted him on OVO. "The City don't love you like that and they frying you up" - shot at Kanye. Saying Chicago doesn't love him like they do other artists. Immediately followed by " can't wait for the day you retire your stuff. Taking off the sneakers you tired of tying them up" - triple meaning. 1. Kanye might retire and sell his things the way Pharrell did. Drake could buy it as another sneak diss like the Pharrell auction stuff to get back at Pusha. 2. Kanye has been mainly shoeless as he spent time in Italy and other places. 3. Joe budden is also barefoot on his podcast a ton. Drake wants him to be done with hip hop media and accept retirement.
"You not Kobe Bryant to us!" Could me a few things. 1. Kendrick said in an interview he feels like raps Kobe Bryant. Also did Kobe face in the Heat pt 5. 2. Kanye and Kobe did a commercial together and did LA themed I Feel Like Kobe merch. 3. Joe Budden again. In drakes long IG comment it suggests Joe never got his jersey retired or hung up like the Kobe Tour. The comment was also on a video of Draymond Green yelling "YOU THOUGHT U WERE KOBE?
YOURE NOT LIKE THAT" to Paul Pierce on his retirement night vs the warriors.
1 think the last part of the song is equally a Joe
Budden diss as it is Kanye. Drake found a common ground and COOKED both of them strategically.
Good job man, just stumbled on to your channel… got another follower! Imma look out for the Drake / Kendrick movie you got comin - salute 🙌🏾
Thanks man!! Hoping to get it done really soon haha!
You’re the 🐐
Good shit bro
Kanye deserves the shots though honestly
so many shots fired i need me a clip switch
Bro what about the bar in “The Shoe Fits” about Ye making Kim go get a reduction. Video is fire fire 🔥 🔥
Hope to see a part two
Love your content!!!!
I’m so glad you kept it 💯 about Joe
Red button isn’t blackmail. He’s doing battle rap. Where you are methodically killing them with metaphors and bars. He’s speaking as an actual killer in this song. Pressing a red button is associated with mayhem usually a nuke
Yeah but the nuke is a metaphor for the secret drake has about kanye
@@bobbytropo2314 but he doesn’t even have to actually have anything that’s too detrimental. Because what could possibly just get Kanye beyond all other celebrities in wickedness… there will always be people who just don’t care bout the person and just like the music.
I really wonder what it is that he has on Kanye.
@@ChristopherJRoberson Well Kanye fans will definitely defend him no matter what bc they're sad and delusional but revealing that Kanye is gay or that he fucked Kanyes wife/maybe one of his kids isn't his would have a significant impact on his life and career/legacy.
^ Probably a video of Kanye kneeling to him. I think Drake has a secret ritual he does for other rappers where he makes them kneel to him and records it. I think he did this to YoungBoy too.
