I was gonna say the masterful clip of Splinter/Shredder (Hatter/Nostalgia) doing battle was great... but man, that ending clip 🤣🤣 chefs kiss 🤌 This war never disappoints
NECA (and others) needs to balance out their prices. They don’t hesitate to charge more anytime a larger figure uses more plastic, but don’t reciprocate by dropping prices on a smaller figure. Eh, what am I talking about, they know we’ll keep paying.
Great review on this one. The mouser is a nice accessory for Splinter. With the Baxter Stockman Mirage figure in the pipeline - we should have a couple of cool mousers on the display shelf soon.
Really liking this Splinter. I don't mind that he's short, this is kind of how I remember him from the original playmates toy. I have some four inch turtles I might try displaying with him. But it makes sense that he would be shorter in the comics. and That TCRI cannister, and Mouser are so colorful, the extra pieces here can really liven up a Mirage display.
Excellent review, Mad Hatter! I just picked this great figure up on the secondary market. I know I paid a little too much but he is a must have and I missed him at retail. He’ll look great with my Mirage Turtles!

This is such a dope figure, & your video was well done! The staff, book, baby turtles, soft goods clothing, and as someone who drinks Japanese matcha tea every day, the teapot & cup are awesome additions! It's almost TOO much of a good thing, as I'd be willing to have less accessories to cut costs down a bit lol.
On one hand I'm a little miffed I spent so much on the Ali Express links, however, I don't have to play the BS NECA game trying to find these in stores. I'm happy to see the boxes are in better shape, I'm an in box collector (I'm nuts, I know).
I just opened my splinted and upon doing so and realizing just how tiny this little guy is compared to the rest of the turtles, I suddenly heard the voice of Maurice LaMarche doing his voice of Brain from Animaniacs pop into my head. This is now your official head canon and you’re welcome.
That mouser is a complete redo from the original ones they released. The first one only had hip rotation and head ball joint, the ones that came with April added mouth articulation, but this one looks far more comic accurate with an underbite jaw. Looks great.
Waited for your review just as eagerly as I'm waiting for the figure! I ordered two days after you so hopefully Saturday I'll have him. He looks incredible! These mirage figures are quickly becoming my absolute favorite of any line. The price was a little painful, but the distribution is never very reliable for these figures in my area so I didn't mind paying a little more for the guarantee.

All the targets I went to this week, not one single Ultimate April O’Neil. Never thought that would be the hard one to find. Whatever, I love the Mirage stuff way too much to care.
Thanks for the review! You may need to adjust whatever is going on with the camera as most of the review was blurry. I had thought it was just a low quality camera (which is totally fine) but every minute or so it would re-adjust itself to be in focus and you could tell it was actually pretty good at close up detail - but straight away it kept adjusting itself out of focus again.
Still more than what came in the recent Guardians of the Galaxy Rocket box. He was almost $30 for 2/3 of a figure. I’ll take that Splinter deal all day.

What's crazy is that they didn't give Splinter his little sword 😳. For being such a tiny 'pack-in' kinda figure, you'd think we'd get the weapon he's typically seen welding in those OG Mirage comics. So now I'm tryin' to figure out where to get a sword/knife that looks similar to his comic book one. *And we should've gotten a regular 'spill not part of the sculpt' ooze canister. Like this should've been a full-blown Mirage accessory pack lol.
How long did it took for the figure to be delivered to you ? I have some Dasin Yu Yu hakusho figures coming that’s why I asked. Also great review. 👍🏾❤️

How did NECA get a wire in that Splinter's tail? When the Hasbro team was asked why the Marvel Legend's Doc Ock didn't have wires, they said it was because the tentacles were too narrow.
He’s iddy biddy but he looks just like the splinter on the comic (size & all), you get 4 turtles ooze & a neutrino brain thing & a mouser. he was a must for me. I’m still giddy on target having all these guys available. Still up I think

Ordered on the 5th and arrived on the 16th...from China?!? Woah....that's nuts man. I ordered something from California on the 16th, and it's now the 26th...I still don't have the damn thing. It's somethin' how it'll take over a week for a package to go from California to the southeast, yet you can receive a package faster from the other side of the planet.
Before you dust your whole collection, it would be nice if you could work on that auto-focus on your camera because most of your reviews look blurry these days :(

Yeah I realized after the fact it switched off of auto focus in my settings or whatever and the damn thing kept going in and out of it. Ah well
Mouser looks like it might be the one that came with April. IT had more articulation than the 3 pack ones. When I get Splinter I'll check it out.

I like it, but he does seem to be too small. The turtles should only be one head taller.
I almost didn't buy it because overpriced, But that psychotic looking Utrom and fully articulated mouser really sold it for me.
