    I am a 35-year-old man it seems like people my age and for a long time now do not play this kind of stuff. and I would love to play Pokemon and I would love to play dungeons and dragons with other players however none of my friends are people I know seem to be interested if anything I think they believe it's for kids or silly and for that reason I've never had the opportunity to play the damn game

    • @WoodyREC

      Try and find a local game store and ask around! Typically you will be able to find an RPG night for Dungeons & Dragons and maybe a Pokémon League! The majority of people that actually play the TCG are in there 20s / 30s so I wouldn’t ever worry about age 😊 let me know how you get on!

      No, you can have any amount!

    Is there a rough guide for how many energy/ basic Pokemon/ evolved Pokemon/ trainers etc you want?
    Thanks!

    • @WoodyREC
      @WoodyREC  Год назад +3

      Roughly I’d say something like 18 Pokémon, 30 Trainers and 12 Energy - some decks vary massively but that’s a good base!
      Your main attackers you tend to want 3-4 of and if you’re playing let’s say a Lugia VStar for example you would have 4 Lugia V and then 2-3 VStar so you have more of the basic.
      If you’re playing a Stage 2 Pokémon like Charizard it’s not uncommon to play 4 Charmander, 2 Charmeleon, 4 Charizard. You could then play 4 Rare Candy which let you skip the middle evolution giving you plenty of evolving options!
