It took a pandemic for me to learn basic bicycle maintenance. Your video is the easiest to follow. I could listen to you read the phone book. Thanks from New Jersey.
I was worried that I wouldn't be able to change by myself but after watching this, I think I can! Thanks for your clear and easy-to-follow instructions!!!
You have the voice of an angel! Usually I zone off halfway through instructional videos... however I feel confident I will be able toto change me inner tire confidently knowing I paid attention the whole time, thanks to your David Attenboro -esk voice!! Xoxo
What a great video!! Best teaching video on here!! A hundred thank yous!! The only thing you forgot to show us was how to check the correct tire pressure.
Nice video. But from all the shop professionals I worked with, they recommend you pump a little bit the inner tube before putting it on the tire and then to the rim. Once it's fitted, you pump to the desired pressure. And finally you put back the tire. This is to avoid removing the tire in case the new inner tube has an issue (you never know).
Be careful not to cut your hand on the edge of the tire that fits onto the rim. I recommend wearing gloves. Some tires are sharp and can cut your hand if you are not careful.
Actually you need to put the air in first so incase sonething goes screwy you'll aready have the tire off. You just got lucky. I wamted to mention some guys only have a bike for transportation. So its good to lnow this ..if you grocery shop on your bike remember your tires are carrying alot of weight yours and what your hauling. So its a good idea to get a more rugged tire. Like mountain climbing tire.
How would you get the tyre on with air in the inner tube? And these tyres are perfect for the road for carrying loads at 2.5 inches wide they are as wide or even wider ie have more volume than some mountain tyres, the knobs on mountain tyres would cause unnecessary rolling resistance.
@@Koji-888 yea, we have those spurs where i live too, im the local bicycle, mower, car etc repair guy, i bet ive changed thousands of tubes in the past 20 years because of spurs..
