Hello! Could you please tell me the answer about the 3 problems below: 1. Where did you put the recorder to record the motor sound? 2. What's the brand/type of the recorder you have used? 3. The VVVF sounds very clear in this audio. What's the time you have took this train and recorded the motor sound? If you can please answer my problems, that will be a great help. Thanks so much!
@@cookpoon By the way, WWL, I've got just the thing for you: ruclips.net/user/postUgy-VmiVrWP8idgEvKl4AaABCQ Why? Because I'm about to start a collection of inductor coil recordings for Sydney Trains, and both Clarence Huang and I recommend you build your own to do an MTR version! Please note that the video for the circuit is only in Japanese, but I've asked for English subtitles to be added.
Don't you think this sounds like a low pitched version of MBTA (Boston) subway Green Line Type 8, New York City Subway R142A, R143, R188 and MARTA (Atlanta) Rail CQ31x (all of which using Adtranz/Bombardier 1508C [IGBT-VVVF]) and BART (San Francisco) A/B series (using Adtranz 1507C [IGBT-VVVF])?
Omg idk how to say it i just love this motor
This sounds very nice. The audio is also really clear. Good Job recording this!
So many doors slam in this train

@@eddsworldfan69as a Hong Konger I can confirm that

Low pitch
Yes
It’s GTO
@@cytlrus no I already know that the one in this video is GTO, but it sounds very similar to the IGBT inverters explained.
@@TheSearleFamily123Not only is it low pitch, it climbs up to the R160B Siemens’ pitch!
Sounds similar to SEPTA’s MFL cars.
Sounds like Mitsubishi GTO-VVVF
