There Has Never Been a Better Time to Buy CD's!

My name is Paulo Leite, and music is a fundamental part of my life.
Recently, I have been finding myself buying special edition CD's and box sets I find for great prices. Then, it hit me: there has never been a better time to buy CD's. Why?
Four main reasons:
1 - Record labels understood that, in the context of declining CD sales, the fans are the only people still willing to spend money, IF you give them something of value: special editions with stuff fans will like.
2 - A decent number of people will not pass on the opportunity to buy multiple albums, brought together in a box-set, if the price is right.
3 - The CD production price can remain low, (compared to the price of producing vinyl records, for example). This means that it remains pretty inexpensive to produce box-sets that are smartly packaged.
4 - We are living through a vinyl craze, and no one seems interested in buying CD's (back to reason #1).
15 Or 20 years ago, this would be unthinkable. If we wanted to buy five albums from an Artist, we would probably have to pay full price for some of those titles. Plus, if we try to find the same titles on vinyl, each one would cost at least $15.00 - roughly the same price I paid for each one of those box-sets.
