One of the best bike/scooter travel vlogs available ever on RUclips. You really captured the theme of simple pleasures, on a machine that is modest yet perfectly capable, in an region of great beauty. It shows very well that you do not need "adventure" bikes or expensive machines to enjoy yourself and take in the countryside. Please take note Motorcycle News and hundreds of other biking media and websites promoting ridiculously over-weight, over-powered bikes that add nothing to this experience except expense.
That’s awesome! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and took that message from it. We’ve always believed in small bike adventures. We even did a video series specifically to build a £500 adventure bike to prove it could be done. Although I think we overspent by £7 😁 There’s a brilliant Facebook group called ‘Great Fun on Small Bikes’ that’s chock full of sub 250cc adventure fanatics. It’s worth a look for more stuff like this 👍👍
Fantastic video - thanks! I’ve got a Suzuki Address and overall I’m pretty happy with it. It’d be great to be able to get around on roads like you’ve got over there and go camping. Keep up the great work.
Great video. Good to see I'm not the only one who travel on the Address. Time to time I ride mine to Wales. Normally these day trips are 200-300 mls long. It's fun. Fun in the different way. Not like my Kawasaki 750. It's like a bicycle. Ideal on those very narrow countryside roads.
Sounds like we have similar tastes. We both have the Address and a 750 Kawasaki. Good skills! What’s your 750? I agree they’re like chalk and cheese but both great fun 👍
Thanks mate. I did enjoy this trip. It was supposed to be the first of many scooter trips, but life gets in the way eh? Glad you’re still enjoying the video 👍
a very nice video thank you. suzuki address 110 I bought a very nice scooter. The saddle is not very comfortable for the long road.the longest distance is 220 + 200 .. a tank fuel. long distance 220 km.
Brilliant! Really enjoyed your video and hope to see many more. I was in the UK last month and thought how great it would be on my scooter. You mentioned watercolors, love to see you paint when traveling as well.
James Carey Thanks James. That’s praise indeed. This adventure (and taking my watercolours) was completely inspired by your own scooter camping and painting videos. I’ve been watching them a few months now. We spoke briefly about them on my original RUclips profile before I set up this one. So thanks for the inspiration, and for subscribing. Where did you visit in the UK? England isn’t so good for scooter wild camping unfortunately, but being pretty small, you can see a lot on a small scooter. Give us a shout if you ever head back over.
Brilliant thanks really enjoyed that. I'm just looking at a 125 address the old 4 speed semi. To do just this explore back roads and have adventures where I'd have been uncomfortable on the Bandit. Thanks for the review, a good watch but on the volume control for each swap from speach to music 😂
Lots of things. When we bought our house I parked the bike in the garden. I didn't use it for 5 years. House refurbishment, first child etc... As you can imagine this 5 years ruined her "health". Full service, break refurbishment, battery, fork refurbishment, new break disc, tires etc...
Hey Dave. I’ve still got the bike but I don’t get chance to use it much. I’ve got just over 6000 miles on it so far, with no problems. It’s a great bike 👍
@@MechitBetter overseas. They have tubes in them. But I used to change the front to tubeless. I'm buying another one I pick it up Friday. In AUSTRALIA at the moment. Will have to check if their standard tubeless or not. Thanks
nice 1 good on ya who needs a bmw 1200 gs hope to do the same on me yam tmax in 2021 oh yes and i have had 2 gs in the past just for you beemers out there
Cheers Michael! No GS required for this kind of stuff. We did a series where we rebuilt a Honda CG125 with a total budget of £500, including the bike. Then I rode it up to Scotland for a weeks touring and camping. Loved it! The t-Max should be great for a camping trip. Enjoy!
Hi yesterday I got my scooter One question When I go on little bit big Bump There will be small plastic or flap voice From front It’s just 30 kilometres wokred Is it normal?
@@MechitBetter Bought on eBay but the base plate didn't line up with the holes/screws on the OEM Suzuki rack. I think most base plates that come with Top Cases are mostly made to accomodate the tubular steal types of rear luggage racks ("Ventura" or similar). The OEM Suzuki Address Top Case is way too small and expensive, what size case have you fitted mate? Cheers.
@@nikitis13 You need to drill holes on the base plate according to the holes on the scooter rack(always use washers in bolting base plate down to the rack, "double bolts" is strongly recommended to keep single bolt from loosening) . Choose the size of your top box based upon your practical needs. I would recommend that adding a thick rubber mat(about quarter inch) between base plate and rack to keep plastic base plate from cracking due to bumping over the time. Also, drill a screw through washer inside the bottom of your top box to attach it to base plate to keep your top box from prying away by thieves.
Excellent. You’ll love it I hope! My phone holder was from amazon. Something like this. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01G3DVW90/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_u3TuDbH2W1D01
Rocking in a free world That’s a hard question to answer. How long do you want to ride for? What types of roads etc? The tank range of the scooter is 130 miles. Top speed 60-65mph. Reliability is good. Comfort is OK but it’s not really built for distance. Personally I think anything over 150 miles in a day would be boring. I prefer to ride smaller roads and enjoy the views and stop to see villages. 80-100 miles a day is about right for me
Anything that fits on the wing mirror stem will work. Mine is a Motopower MP0609D. Looks like this style is harder to get hold of these days though 🤷🏼♂️

the best scooter on market! Nice one Suzuki
Great video - amazing the amount of freedom such a small scooter can give you..
I love the (my) address. Simple and very good. Back to the roots.
Just love your videos. Next week I should get my Suzuki Address.
Amazing! You’re going to love it. I’m still enjoying mine. Hoping to get out camping again this summer 👍

Great video, I loved the entire of it and particularly the music at the end. Thank you for sharing.
That’s a really kind comment. Thank you. So glad you enjoyed it 👍
All your camping gears and stuffs are all loaded up in this little suzie? It is just like magic.
Yes it’s magic! I had a sleeping bag in my rucksack, but everything else is in the bike 👍
Not a bad way to spend a day 😀
One of the best 👍

Was it covered ?
getting my new one soon, the old one but very quick going in pt/ex some times less is more ay least it has a key just needs decent tyres
Agreed. Stick some decent tyres on and you’re good to go. Enjoy!
You have a nice scooter out there :)
Thanks Joshua 😎
@@MechitBetter are you still using until now?
Yes I still use it regularly 🙂
Hi, I'm from Indonesia, the Suzuki Address that you use is produced in Indonesia. Thank you😁
Okay, so...?
how much is it there
I know this is 2 years ago. What miles have you got on it now ??
And have you had any serious issues. Thanks 😊😊😊 Dave

I ride this scoot as daily.
Do you have tubes in your tyre's ??
I was thinking if making my front wheel. Tubeless. ??
Probably better if you have a flat ??
This model of Address has tubeless as standard, so yes probably easier in case of a simple puncture 😁👍

Hey John, can you show us how you mounted your top case on the rear rack for the Suzuki. I bought one on-line and sent it back, couldn't fit it. :(

No. I risked it. I probably should have taken one, but I know the area well and was confident I could find help if I needed it 👍
My 750 is a ZR7 S. Good bike. It is not roadworthy atm.
Cool bike though. What does it need doing to it?

How many miles did you manage to travel using this scooter 🛵 because I'm buying the same scooter but 2022
