What’s not so funny but still kind of funny is that there’s always one person who gets careless & greedy at the same time. One such person opened my fuel filler panel to then be stymied by the cap. While he fiddled with it, I opened my door with a hatchet in hand. Now I have a nice fluid transfer pump & he had to do laundry that night. Lesson: Don’t steal fuel from a van-dweller unless you enjoy shitting your pants.
Last Thursday I filled my cars gas tank 3/4 full, the next day Friday the tank level was dropped to half (1/2) meaning a loss of quarter tank. I havnt driven the car for quarter tank of gas, the tank cap lock was moved - eventhough I have placed a lock on the gas tank filling hole. It happened to me about 2 years ago, now it is happening again. The puzzle is how did they steal my gas when the gas tank filling hole had a key lock on it? I am concerned they maybe using such a nasty way to steal my gas. How can we stop that? I know the gas theft is happening while everyone is sleeping, during the night time. Someone who have access (key or key fob) to my car without sounding the alarm - Honda civic 2012...
A violin coiled snare string keeps birds from shitting on your gas gap, on the legal side! It also should not be opened by other living creatures who wish to shit on your wallet! You might find a ring or a watch to buy gas with!

Gladiator has 2 screens to prevent siphoning. and skid plate to protect gas tank.
My tank was 1300 to replace, they stoled 20$ of gas. And probably had dirt in there fuel. Smrt thieves
