For anyone having trouble with some modules working while others aren't, just put a reapeater in the backside right location. You should be in back of the module with everything completed and then just place a reapeater instead of dust on that right observer. Something strange with the signals on realms later. Again, some will work with any changes. However, if you encounter problems this is the quickest fix.
This farm is crazy fast. I built the previous design also with lights also. Playing on PS4 for context.

I love the wool block indicators!
At 13:00 the observer on the right (when looking from the back) will not trigger the shears because the redstone dust that it activates will only soft power the block it’s pointing to and will not activate the redstone on top. You could put a solid block right behind the observer and redstone on the other side so it’s all connected and achieve the desired effect.

We were able to correct the issue by just replacing the Redstone behind the right (when looking from the back) with a repeater 😆 thank you for your help on us troubleshooting our issues lol

I use smooth stone for redstone because of the gridlines, but it is a pain when I accidentally break it with a good pickaxe. Using wool for redstone is super smart and I'll definitely be switching to that!

On our realm I built the sheep farm into a prison. All the sheep are penned 2 to a cell (we have a clear glass pack on so you can't actually tell they are trapped in a single spot), and the system underneath sends all the wool into a sorter.

For some odd reason some of my stalls weren't shearing. They were wired correctly. I discovered that if you are looking from the back to the front, the block on the back that carries the redstone signal from the observer on the right wasn't working. So I lowered it one block. It works perfectly. About a third of my stalls are like this.

    • @markrwc6185

@oneeyethedrd one reason it might be doing this is when you leave the area and come back the sheep might have wool, but it doesn't shear until the sheep eats.

if anyone is still wondering why there might be some problems with this farm regarding some sheep not being sheared, just replace the Redstone behind the dispenser with a repeater and the block next to that with a glass block. It worked perfectly for me after I messed around and changed these blocks.

I just built this on my realm and I have the issue that the wool very frequently drops forward or to the side and then is despawned when laying on the grass blocks. And when I say "very frequently" I mean somewhere between 30% to 50% of wool getting lost. So I'll have to replace the fence with glass and put glass on the front too. Not sure if this is an issue with a recent version.
Edit: I noticed the error of my ways. Didn't do the hopper-minecart in the ground trick because I was too tired 🤷‍♀

Thanks so much for your videos! For me, 60% of the time, works every time! Haha, I’m a late adopter and I get a lot of inspiration from these. For some reason when I built one by one they seemed to work as soon as I loaded up the sheep but when I went for the mass 16 sheep build, most of them didn’t work (sheep ate grass but didn’t activate the shears). Some of them I fixed by destroying the whole back and replacing, some that hasn’t worked. Any ideas where subtle things can go wrong? Thanks!
