Yes you can set up another account for someone and then share all the devices or specific ones.

I have the same arenti camera and the battery does not stay powered for too long. Camera has stopped recording and recognizing human motion

Can you use the app to check the camera from anywhere? Or does it have to be connected to your modem?

yes u can check it from anywhere.... BUT i would suggest using a blink camera over this
