Snagged a tama rockstar used and it came with these cymbals. The lady said she bought these for her son in 2003 along with the kit. A slight polish and man I love these. They cut well in a mix. Gonna order the china
My buddy had these in our band in high-school. Like these cymbals where all he played. The high hats and crashes were easy to break. He didn't let me play them much hahaaha😂 The hi-hats sound second to none IMO.
I had these brand new in 2003. I actually liked them quite a bit. Hi hats and ride were the best out of the bunch. But they were definitely too bright for certain applications.
Same way you would clean regular cymbals, Brasso or whatever. The titanium coating is basically a molecular bond so it's pretty strong, the print on the other hand, not so much.
Román - I still have my titanium hats out the entire set, which I've had since 2004. To clean them I've used either lemon juice, Apple Cider Vinegar, and/or Simple Green. They all work great for different things. Apple Cider Vinegar is a great natural way to clean/shine them. Lemon juice is great to get rid of tarnish. & Simple Green is a safe bet, too.
The drums I am playing are a pawn shop find and the video in the card at the end is about finding stuff at Pawn shops. They'll be plenty more of both in the future!
I’m going to buy a bunch from used GC and have a stupid amount on my set lol. I think I only have one crash maybe I don’t remember what all I have in the garage

Thanks for this video. I was thinking of getting some used as backups, but they're not so much my sound. This video saved me $$$
Glad to help! Yeah they have a very particular sound.
They sound pretty ordinary aye?
i actually really dig the hats. nice and meaty.
Agree
The Ride and the Hit- Hat sound´s amazing.
Definitely
Jazzy
Can't decide if I love them or hate them...never thought I'd be this confused by cymbals
Yeah they are certainly not all purpose. Good for punk or garage rock.

The Hi hats and Ride are awesome. Zildjian Platinum for the crashes and Wuhan 20 in China would be my setup
Same set up for me except I'd use UFIP china
We have the whole set on the kit at school and I’ve been trying like crazy to get some for my kit at home
I got a whole set I'm about to sell.
ForsytheVideo where are you from and how much
@@zdskillz849you still want a whole set? I got some
great video, just got a pair of these on a whim but they sound nice

@@ForsytheVideo I used good ole Noxon Metal Polish and it worked just fine. it didn't even take the print off, infact the print looked like new.
@@6789drummerdude Thanks!
I was told when I bought my titanium cymbals that you can clean them with window cleaner. But I wouldn't use brasso.

I used to have a retarded amount of cheap cymbals back in the day. Fun tip, hi hat bottoms make interesting sounding crashes!
Sounds like shit, I was planning to but a set, but it wont happen
well, crap cymbals.
The ride and hats are sick
