18:05: Billy Incardona says that this is "unquestionably the greatest one pocket performance in the history of tournament one pocket." In 2024, I think this still rings true. Magical pool.
Greatness is all that I can say. Definitely a pleasure to watch this man play. Thank you Accu-Stats and Billy on the mic makes it just that much better.
Its scary to believe that in the 70s efren was WAAAAAAAYYYY better. Only in the 80s was it "mainstream" enough that legend had it that a philipino player ruled the table and could run American and European players off with ease. Definitely wished i could have witnessed those earlier times in the 70s
..I saw the 27:39 length of this race to 3 and thought this must be highlights so where’s the entire match…3 games in less than 28 mins? That is insane but then it is Efren after all 😊
I’ve come to believe that the guys in Buddy’s and Efren’s era were a bit envious of the newcomer coming in and stealing the spotlight. I noticed that he was the only one not clapping, too; I just wasn’t sure if that was Buddy. Lol.

Not even close. T-Rex had 2 8s and a 7 vs Parica. Parica only shot twice.
I agree.
@artartful854 this is still a better performance and his match before this against pagulyan was equally as dominant.
@@artartful854 The shots were the big difference. Parica can only do 9 ball and he is very proud of it :))
When talking about overall one pocket play I believe Alex P. and Dee Adkins played one of the greatest “one pocket” matches ever.

What a great interview by Billy with Efren after the clinic, loved it!
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!!! No spoilers but some magic will be performed.
All imma say is wow just wow

Apparently he was at his best before leaving the Philippines, scary😮
@@josephgrady2129No he wasn't i was there
You don't have a clue
In the 70's no one would play 9-ball with Efren. He switched to carom for 4 years. Honed his kicking skills.
I’ve been waiting for this upload for years.

Lmao… Diliberto- “He’s going to sleep in the streets”
That's because he's amphibious
The Hardest part for efren is not the game, but the interview 😅❤
😂😂😂
Or staying awake in between matches lol he's either sleeping on a chair or playing chess with someone
LOL. I wish Efren could speak English well because he has many more stories to tell and share.
yup lol he is so sweet:)
17:45 !!! Are you kidding me? And then 19:25????? Astonishing.
Buddy Hall; "Well now, This is going to be a problem..."
Accu Stats and Bad Boyz have the best commentators..great for us spectators..luv it...
Just wow!!!! That interview by Billy was precious!
15:33 You know you’re great when your opponent is applauding your runout!
Miss you Scott.
"I don't have to go outside to see what the weather feels like."
- Billy Incardona
22:17 on the left sitting - is that Buddy Hall? The only person who's not even clapping while everybody else giving Efren standing ovations?
yes it is
I’ve come to believe that the guys in Buddy’s and Efren’s era were a bit envious of the newcomer coming in and stealing the spotlight. I noticed that he was the only one not clapping, too; I just wasn’t sure if that was Buddy. Lol.
he can't clap anymore due to obesity.
Also ignoring him when he goes to shake hands with all the people near him
@@bilders6701Good catch!
Thanks so much! This is magic
RIP, Scott Smith. 😢

Talk about amazing, football has Messi & Pooltable has Reyes
Back when Efren ruled the world!
back when Efren was god. atleast now, Efren came down to the level of elite mere mortals.

Ang galing ni efren maghanap ng paraan para may tira yan ang hindi ko nakita sa ibang player

The ten 10 going in the pocket was beyond physics. But it was not Efren. I willed it to go in.. and Efren got lucky.
EFREN "THE GOAT" REYES 🐐
He’s the best of the best and a very humble guy.
Jason doesn't look happy during the intro. First, he is killing his action, and he believes he can not win.
Efren hurt Buddy's feeling that day😂
