Hmmmm.... Difficult question. Till recently, I considered Shostakowich's 2nd Waltz (from Jazz Suit) as the best. However in the last days of Dec. 2013 one of the Polish best composers Wojciech Kilar passed away - thus, many of his pieces (including waltzes) were reminded in our media.... Beautifil. And now You, with nostalgic "La Varenne"..... How to choose?
Ah! gee! thanks Jack! I just transcribed this two days ago...I was totally smitten with the melody and had to learn it a.s.a.p. So, it's quite new to me and I hope it becomes a close, eternal friend. Thank you for your thoughtful appreciation!
