I have an all origanal 1961 Apache c 10/14 heavyduty stepside myself .with all matching numbers pluss a 61 blue printed 235cd engine .
I love older vehicles they just last longer sound better and are safer

yeah that's how engines used to run back when they were actually good. Back before they got screwed over by computers and whatnot.
You could probably pull start that stovebolt like a lawnmower.
My 4.7 v8 2003 tundra is like that, barely touch the key and it cranks right up. It was in my back yard for 2-3 years, get it out bc my dad was giving it to me and it did the same as normal barely tap the key and it crank right up. Definitely not a classic like these but it will be a classic for its time eventually
