When people say, "Stay in your lane" what they are actually saying is, "Do what *I* think you should do, be what *I* think you should be, *i* am not comfortable with you doing something else." The only honest thing, the only ethical thing, is for each of us to choose our own lanes -- and that's plural because no human being is so two-dimensional that only one lane is ever correct for all time.
I subscribed here for some solid business advice and the attached lifestyle suggestions, but it's beyond reassuring to know it's all coming from a real, three-dimensional, *thinking* and *feeling* human being. Thank you. :-)

Thank you for this!!!!!! I’m the most anxious I’ve ever been in my life. I feel frustrated! I’m the most tearful in my life. I happened to be in a Circle K this evening and a cop walked in, a white cop. I turned to him and said, “thank you for your service”. I’m a black woman. He thanked me and said it really, really meant a lot to him. He was genuine about it. We then did an elbow bump. We BOTH needed it. It seemed liked our souls connected because of our shared common pain related to unrest. In no way do I support police brutality against young black men but I also want to see peace in our country.

"When you can't see, you can't agree." Very well said Sunny. I am a black woman and I was not surprised when you spoke up about George Floyd. Your personality shows through your content and I could always tell that you sincerely want to help people. However, I was a bit worried for you. Most of your following is white entrepreneurs who benefit greatly from their privilege. I suspected that you would lose a lot of them. But, that's not necessarily a bad thing... You'll gain people who will greatly benefit from the services you provide, and will be a lot more appreciative for it. Thanks for speaking up for us Sunny, and thanks for your content! It's been super helpful to me in my journey to grow this channel. 🤗🖤

You have helped me talk about George Floyd and you didn't even know it. You support many people, and I had also thought about the risks of speaking out vs. Playing to the algorithm. We need more people thinking about this. Otherwise culture will not move forward. Thank you for your voice, thank you for your support. You became a light in the dark when you decided to speak up! It's very moving to see your courage, and very hopeful. I'm not going to lie. I teared up a little bit with joy hearing you speak up! Keep up the good work.

Sunny, I loved this video. I am in a similar spot. I have a RUclips channel of 375,000 subs where I teach people the Bible. But I’m also a black man. I’ve been criticized for using my platform to speak up as well. I REFUSE TO BE PUT IN A BOX AND BE WHO PEOPLE WANT ME TO BE. let the followers fall off. It’s their loss not yours. Those are NOT the types of people you want following you and doing business with you. Continue to be a voice for those who may not have a voice. Let me say this. People who have a problem with what you’re doing do so because they don’t want to be challenged to change how they think. They want you to stay silent because the more you speak up it challenges them to have to speak up as well. It challenges them to have to do some serious soul searching and most people aren’t willing to do that. Kudos to you for actually being a decent human being and caring about others who may be different than you.

As a black woman, that is a trigger for me. The fact that you've stood up and said what was on your heart, all the good and positivity is on your side... Speaking out about something that is wrong a lot of times brings with it great loss, but that loss you incur will later bring about great gain because all that you have done and are doing will align with the right things that actually match your morals and beliefs... It's the way the Universe works... Sunny, I know it's frustrating and hurtful, but in the long run you are helping to contribute to making the world a better place!💯

I agree that some don't want to listen. Life's too easy the way it is and they either don't get it or aren't willing to consider anything outside their own experience I think this is EXACTLY why Sunny stepping out and making an honest video about this where she's DECIDING to step beyond the boundaries of "what's acceptable" and doesn't bruise the bubble of those you mentioned is a powerful choice. This video can have a domino effect and encourage white people to be more honest about supporting Black Lives Matter and equality of humanity in general AND (possibly) encourage those who NEVER considered their white privilege before to finally do so. It's time. The time has come to address the overt racism that still exists (it's a HUGE problem where I live and has cost the lives of many young people to suicide and that has been whitewashed and swept under the carpet until now). This movement is working, people are admitting that there IS a problem. We're deflating the bubble some white folks are living in. It's not gonna happen overnight but steps like this as Sunny has taken here truly add up and can have (are having) a positive ripple effect.

Richard Ellis of course they do. Who said they don't? Do you think bringing them under her video deflects from the point and focus on the current work we as a nation have to do to make it so that racism dies?
I mean we can mourn deaths of officers while demanding the end of racism at the same!
      time!
Officers have a tough job in a field they CHOSE to enter and we are grateful for their CHOICE and mourn their deaths year in and year out when one dies in the line of DUTY.
However,We are talking about the people who didn't choose their race yet because of it are subject to daily, systemic and routine racism.

Hi Sunny. I never comment on your videos but here I am now. Thanks to you my channel grew to 52K subs in last 2 years. I watched your videos in the beginning which showed me the right direction so thank you for that. I am having exactly the same thoughts and same confusion as you are. My channel is about tech and I did loose lots of subs in last 24 hours because very silly I used different smartphone gimbal then usually. I am feeling anger between people on social media and also here on youtube. The world is not healthy... not because of covid… people are stressed, miserable, scared, have anxiety, afraid of future... You have said it well in this video. I loved seeing you being you... all the respect to you. I am also rethinking the social media myself.... wishing you only the best.
