I hardly believe that your FootJoys were left with bare metal screws sticking out of the bottom and that you lost not only the spike but also the entire spike mechanism... they're not made that way, so it's literally IMPOSSIBLE...
Also, the major difference being, you can replace the spikes hassle-free on the Foot Joys & real golf shoes.
PLUS, golf shoes are made for support specifically for a golf swing & motion sequence.

They hold up ok. My biggest problem was that they start coming out of the shoe.
