This is very helpful. I appreciate that WM took the time to explain how these work.

Great video. I wonder whether all the savings on gas will be spent on running all these pumps and the more complicated maintenance.

@@johnsimson8417 Mine so far is going on 50 years without problems. I just had to replace the motor on the circulator, but that's about it.

Good video explaining the operation. I have a problem with the return temperature from the radiators never getting over 120F, seems like the system is in constant bypass, I am trying to figure out the issue, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for your comment. Happy to help troubleshoot, but we have more questions than answers. New installation or existing? With the rear circulator wired in , does it receive 120V? Is the return hotter than the supply? Contact our Technical Services Department at 1-800-654-2109, so we can discuss what you're experiencing, ask a few questions, and work with you to correct the issue.

@@WeilMcLainCo thank you, I did contact the technical support and ultimately I was successful. The system circulator (rear) measured no voltage when connected, calling for heat and boiler temp greater than 140F. Disconnected the circulator and there was voltage. Tech support said that the control board was bad specifically the circulator relay. I replaced the board and immediately the supply temperature increased, also before replacing the board I confirmed the circulator was good by wiring it directly to AC power and also saw the supply temperature increase, as well as hearing the circulator turning. I spoke with three separate techs during my diagnosis and one of the techs was confusing, provided limited help, continually pushed me to hire a professional, was insulting telling me I should take an HVAC course, and would not give me the diagnostic information. I have had professionals tell me all kinds of erroneous solutions previously which I am glad I didn't persue as none were correct.

The whole underside of my GV90+ is burned out . If my monoxide monitor quits I'm DEAD I can't afford another one right now so I must take a chance with my families lives either freeze or die.
