- Lexus GX460 sunvisor not holding up its own weight anymore? This video will remedy an easy removal and installation of a new one. I also added on some clips of my recent vacation in Vietnam. Enjoy!

My GX sun visors were sagging and I replaced them with aftermarket 5th Gen 4Runner sun visors. Worked and fit perfectly… easy replacement with your instructions!
(Costs less than $50 for a pair and didn’t have to pay hundreds of dollars for oem. Only “issue” is the fabric is different. Beige color I bought was close to ecru. So I was happy with the replacements.)

@@janjanoca I purchased them on Amazon. Below is the item I purchased. Although the description says it’s for the 4runner, it fit my 2014 GX perfectly.
Fabric is different from OEM and color is a shade off but I’m happy especially with the price. :)

Thanks for posting this video. The passenger side visor on my GX recently broke after many flip ups and downs to hold the sun shade in place. Looks like a pretty straightforward process. Also appreciate the bonus content from Vietnam.

Nice video and music Bob. I believe the Prados have a turbo diesel and some of them actually have the 4Runner V6 4.0 liter engine, certainly no V8 like ours. Bob, on a side note, do all the lights inside the GX use the same LED? Including the ones in the doors and behind the sun visors, etc? Thanks Bob.
The sunvisors (vanity lights) use the same led fitment as the rest of your interior lights. You thought about switching to door projectors?

Hey Bob thanks for the videos. Can you tell me if the wood trim around the window switches are replaceable? The 2022 come with black plastics but all previous versions are wood. I wanted to see if I can easily swap them out or I have to replace the whole window switches module. Thanks.
The trim does not come separately from the switch itself. Most sellers 99% sell the switch with the trim.

Bob, have you used ceramic coating in your GX? Or just wax? Any thoughts? Thanks Bob.
I use ceramic wax on my headlights and windshield. Been doing that for awhile.

check the bulb, check the connection, check the plug.
