I needle tat . Never could get the hang of the shuttle. with that said I am looking to learn how to do all that you talk about when using a shuttle. can you do tutorial on how to convert the different tatting shuttle stitches to needle tatting stitches?
Someone at this past Palmetto's suggested doing a half hitch every 5-8 wraps of the Celtic shuttle. If it drops, it only unwinds to the next hitch. It was lovely seeing y'all at Palmettos & shame on you for luring that butterfly without providing nectar (joke).
Hello Marsha, I'm terribly sorry if you stopped by my video wanting a "how to." This was just a quick look, but I will definitely take your kind suggestion to add a how to video in the future. Bless your heart.
Do you have a beginner’s tatting tutorial? Since I’m a lefty this would be helpful for me and other lefties tks
Yes Kelli did one last year. I will go see if I can find it and link it in another reply.

Fun! I went to a county fair and someone tatted a tarantula! Must be celtic tatting. It's wild.
How cool is that!! I will now have to find a photo of that! :)

Well. I'm not much of a needle tatter so I'm not a great resource there. 😵💫
What is your favorite thread for tatting?
I am currently using a lot of Olympus, both the tatting threads and the special gold number 40. So right now those are my favorite.

Yes. I thought about a bobbin lace half hitch but the tips are so pointy. 🤔. And I was completely surprised by the butterfly
I skipped through most of this video looking for the few gems of useful information.
I hope you will join me for more regular chats. 😁
Tattles!👏😄. . . I LOVE the word! Its cute (+ why bother using x2 words, when ya can use 1 FUN name?!)🥳
Can’t see how you are working
This was a quick look, not a "how to." So I'll have to put a proper "how to celtic tatting" video on the list. Thanks!
Show what the heck you’re doing
