My favorite feature is the favorites. I'll put in the address of my daughter's home and custom the name. Ill click on the left wheel on the steering wheel and say take me to my daughter's house and reroutes me to the destination. Nice to see Fellow Colorado person - I'm in Colorado Springs.
I have a favorite that was my daughters old address now they moved and I cant get rid of it. It comes back
@amyniemann9564 under navigation select favorites. Slide the one you want to delete to the right.
I’d already figured out most of these features. That’s not the problem with the nav. The features are pretty cool. It’s the horrendous view. You have a beautiful big screen in front of you and you have to try and follow a little red arrow on a map. Why not give you a view of the road, with lanes, like all other nav apps, like Apple and Google maps do?
That is what I miss. View of the road instead of the sky view.

I rely a lot on voice directions. In my Toyota navigation system, when the navigation voice gives direction, the radio temporarily mutes and then turns back on again after the direction is given, so that I only hear EITHER the navigator or the radio. How do I do this on my Model 3? (I just usually drive with the radio off.)
How do I delete a favorite? My daughter moved and I x it off but then it comes back. Can you help?

Can you import your saved bookmarks from google maps?
Not that I know of.
Is there a way to make the map zoom in more when the roads are confusing? Sometimes I take the wrong turn cos I can't see where to go...
You can pinch zoom like on a phone but know that when you keep going and the map recenters it will go back to the regular size.
@@RatsTesla it doesn't last long, though. And doing that when your driving is awkward. Thanks :-)
You can do a voice command with the R scroll sheel. Say "Zoom in"

very helpful but the nave arrows and small distance are inportant. The text size is very small. lets say .3 vs .5 vs .9 are difficult to see. any plane for help with text size?
I don’t think so. I haven’t heard any rumors.

You helped me soooo much! I sat in my car and did what you did only on my own screen. Question: if I spy a supercharger, go to it, and car hasn't had time to 'prepare' for the charge, will it self-prepare or will I damage it? It might just take longer?
Thanks for watching the video. The car will self prepare and if the battery isn't warm enough it will charge slower until the batteries are up to temperature. That's why it is always good to use the navigation to get to the supercharger.
I just received my car (private party sale yesterday), 2015 Model S P85D with MCU2 screens and processor. I could figure out crap with the Navigation, this really helped. I especially like how easy it is to find close by Superchargers. I struggled for hours as I didn't know you just tap the map and the little menu appeared. Huge help! Thank you so very much. Does navigation require your phone or internet connection?
I do not believe that is does. I know the one thing that you will miss is traffic data without that.
