For the zoom while using the controller if you double click the thumb stick, it will change the up and down arrows to be able to use the zoom feature. Just got this a week ago and found that out.

If I remember correctly, we both ordered our Y’s about the same time and you gave in and got the performance model because you could get a performance model in weeks instead of months! I didn’t blame you for that either - it’s a pretty sweet ride. A lot of newer Tesla owners have no idea what it was like to order a Model Y Long Range in 2021 with delivery dates that ranged from 3 to 6 months! And how obsessed one could get checking your account multiple times a day for your VIN. In 2021, if you were driving a Tesla in the US, it came from Fremont California. Period. Looks like you had MyQ before this, as I noticed a sensor on your garage door and an empty Hub mount on your ceiling. I have been using that system plus a Home Bridge, but when I changed my wifi I have been unable to reconnect the Bridge after hours of trying; it has been a nightmare! So I have decided to ditch that system and go for a Tailwind instead. I am just waiting for the package to arrive so I can install it. I found your video very helpful.

Under the AutoPilot menu I would recommend turning off the Auto-Speed limit feature. Other than the random time where it reads a State Route sign as a speed limit sign, it should read them very well.

Scroll wheel still works to set speed, it's in settings. However, you're still correct, the speed is still somewhat selected by FSD and is way too slow on city stack.... a little better on highway.

On the X model I can open my drivers door but I can’t open the passenger door or either side door. I always have my phone in my hand. I have to go to controls to open all the doors.

Forgot to say, if you want to get a number to feel good, do the 80 to 20 thing once every couple of months, but for regular driving, charge to 60%, go to work and back home (assuming you lose 20% round trip), charge from 40% to 60% overnight, and do it again the next day and the next day, ... . That is the best for long term battery health. The 80 to 20 thing is NOT increasing battery health. It is only giving you more accurate numbers. Your so-called "better range" was always there. You are not improving the battery. You still have the range that you think you recovered. By using a 40% to 60% as much as possible you lessen battery degradation. You can't improve the battery. That goes against the law of thermodynamics and the physics behind the way these batteries work. There are some very good RUclips videos that explain this concept. I will look them up and post some links here if you are interested, Good videos. Not meaning to be critical at all. I do value your videos and the time you take to make them.

Don't be fooled by the numbers. They just make you feel good. The numbers getting better are real but they were always were there. You are just allowing your battery management system to better calibrate by running down every night by about 20% and then letting the car go to sleep. Tessie, Stats, etc, all the nice apps are essentially probing your car's BMS and pulling those numbers. Your battery is not getting better; your car's BMS calculation is just more accurate because during that deep sleep, the car's algorithm has time to get a more accurate calculations of your batteries capacity versus short charging sessions. Essentially it has more data points to calculate a more accurate curve. Keeping a lithium battery (except the LFPs) at an average of 50% charge with short charging sessions around 40-60 is the best for long term battery health but enjoy the car and don't worry.

I noticed you tested the light each step to make sure it works. Does this mean you didn’t power the car off completely under “safety’’ tab on the main screen?

My biggest complaint with my 2023 M3P was the fake leather seats. I would sweat through my shirt if it was above 50 degrees out. Id take leather fjrst, but vented seats is a good secondary option

Technically, yes the car likely sees your phone. But the signal is weeker so it thinks your too far away. Same outcome though.

It is funny that there is a difference in which colors are easy to get in the different countries. In Denmark, white is the most common color, at least 50% of all Teslas are white, probably because it doesn't cost extra.
