- Hundreds gathered on Hippie Hill Saturday to celebrate marijuana, good vibes and beautiful weather and no one seemed to mind that the event was neither officially planned nor sanctioned. Da Lin reports.

But see what happens when events are given BACK TO THE COMMUNITY? There's a lot more peace and love and less hate in comparison to when recent years when corporations get in on everything. Stop capitalizing on everything. Yes, money is good. But not everything needs to be capitalized.

I believe these little gatherings used to be called "BE IN"s"..There were real popular in the 60"s .. Glad to see them back even though it is only one day a year..
I consider myself a hippie of sorts, but I just never got into the drugs. Tried pot different times in my youth but all it did was made me kinda lightheaded, and one time made my heart race. Can you be a hippie without the dope? I think so, but there are probably many who would disagree.
Ofc you can be a hippie without drugs but calling marijuana dope would probably make most people not agree with you lol.

Long time smokers tend to go out less and less . It's just more fun to smoke by yourself. I know people who are normal but they get some weed or concentrate and turn into golem from lotr.
