This is exactly what I was looking for and I thought to make it bicycle-powered instead of using my arms. A few more additions to the machine but a better use of muscle, imo (gears also translate work more efficiently). :)
Saw a cast iron version 40 years ago in the Punjab ,India. They had cogs that fed the through the chopper. As a child I enjoyed turning the spindle effortlessly.
I see that this question has been asked already - any chance of getting the design for this hand chopper as it stands? I know the design is evolving but this one seems to work! What drawing did the local blacksmiths work from?
You care about their cattle but you left out how unsafe the chopping machine is! What good is it if they feed their cows and lose their limbs in the process?

Good day do you have the designs so we could use the same to start a small training program
This is awesome how can I get more information about this
Could you share with us the design for the machine
Attach a bike to it and pedal, so much easier
That seems heavy . A simple gear system and a flywheel would drastically change the machine. And yes I have built a chaff cutter ..
Could you share your design for this hand chopper?
I don't think we have a current drawing for this chopper, it is still evolving. We will though, we need it for the project in Burkina Faso.
Semper tangane cuk 🤣

the chopper from hell
You might prefer the machete. Readily available.
A
That's going to cost some fingers.

The chopper is unsafe. Safety first!
