Disinfectants typically should NOT be used in a thermal fogger. If you have further questions, feel free to contact our technical team via live chat at info.legendbrands.com.
Thanks for your question Randy. As with any fogger, if you over-fog a room it could leave a slightly oily residue on surfaces. As always, follow the directions given on the label of whatever product you are fogging for best results, which will help avoid this.
Hi Gary Loiben .I am using Ozone machine for Home and Vehicles . Do you think I should also use Odor x thermal 55, after I have done Ozone or before doing ozone Treatment. please let me know ,should I use Odor x thermo 55, in aThermal or Cold Fogger. Does it leave any Residues on Car seat and home Couches . Are there any solutions which you can recommend me that can be used in Cold or thermal fogger that DOES NOT leave any residues.Appreciate your reply. Thanks
Gary is out on vacation this week, but here's a comment from Bill Weigand, another one of our chemical experts. "We do not recommend doing a thermal fogging treatment in conjunction with ozone use. When thermal fogging is done properly, there should not be a visible residue. I am uncertain as to what odors you are attempting to remove. If there is a microbial odor, you could use Disinfectant Spray Plus in a cold fogger or a micromist device. The application of Disinfectant Spray Plus is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms."
Just looking the best way to apply flame retardant on drapes , somebody recomend me use a fogger like that . Anybody else has some information about this...thanks
You can detach barrel from the Electro-Gen and use it as a cold fogger. As a cold fogger you can use any water based product and it will produce droplets 115 microns in size. Please check the product label or contact the manufacturer to see if these specifications meet the requirements for fogging the product. The disinfectant you are using should specify for use with a thermal fogger on the disinfectant label. Always follow the product label instructions to help ensure proper application.

Foggers can be used to for this purpose, but the use of pesticides is highly regulated and potentially dangerous. We recommend that you consult with a licensed pesticide contractor.
The most important thing you should be promoting is safety first, how can you promote a fogger without wearing gloves, or a respirator,? Are you a profesional?
It sounds like you need to change to a dry fog setting. If you don't have a copy of the product manual, you can download it (both English & Spanish instructions in the same manual) from the Documents secvtion of the Electro-Gen product page: www.legendbrands.com/products/electro-gen-thermal-fogger/ If you still have questions after reviewing the manual, please call 360-757-7776 and ask to reach someone from our technical team.
