@@onlineempire4204 Because at that time the emperor of Japan stayed in Tokyo, so if he dies by atom bomb, then no one would be held responsible to sign the treaty about the war in which Japan would surrender, So they attacked on hiroshima and nagasaki and not on Tokyo....

One respectful suggestion- Please give your comments on comparisons between Japan and China- in regards to safety, friendliness, cleanliness, infrastructure and cost of living ( including public transport) and homelessness.
Can't say about infrastructure but in everything else japan is better.

@@AnUchiha they have the capability but japan goes through lots of natural disasters so it's preferred to have wooden houses compared to China's long concrete building otherwise Japan excels in all aspects

How about cost of living? Very important for most of us humans.
I haven’t been to Japan, but i m sure China is not too far behind in most of categories and most likely, cost of living and travel, Japan may not come close
infrastructure China is better. They are equally safe and clean. Cost of living in China is lower than Japan. There's no homelessness in China, but it's easy to spot homeless ppl even in Tokyo.
