Listining Millencolin till today. My first Millencolin Record was Use Your Nose in the early 90s. Life On A Plate was the last one with the oldschool Millencolin Sound. Four Monkeys was different.
i disagree with you on this one, a band is not only the singer, one of the things that i love in millencolin, is that the two guitars are really amazing, in guitarrist, and millencolin is my prefered band to play, by far, on guitars Millencolin is the best, Drums to, i really love how sounds, simple, but really cool,and the songs, *Wow*...Words can not describe. This band will always a favorite of mine. It was the band that introduced me to music outside of the radio(I don't know about other countries but they're not very well known in US. At least not to most kids.). I was in 5th grade. Birdie was also my first tattoo. Do you have the hi-8 vid?
It sounds like Breaking Benjamin took the intro from A-ten and made it an octave lower in their song "Diary of Jane". I could be wrong but thats what it sounds like to me.

okay so im 48 min into this doc and its more than obvious that they need to write to their abilities and stop relying on studio trickery to inflate the singers abilities. dont hate. i go back to life on a plate.
Millencolin is one of those rare bands that seems less polished by the year. If you check out older live videos, they actually sounded pretty tight. What happened!
I love these guys, But they should have used the video footage from the club soda show in montreal on september 11th. The vocals during that set sounded much better.

I rate Nikola as one of the best voices in the Genre, so disappointed he can't replicate it live. Seems Lazy to me, if you can do it in the studio, keep the voice fit and do it live! You know how many kids bust their chords trying to match his range!
