Ani plays Quake II PSX (Part 1)

I'm back with more Quake II. This time on the Playstation 1 and not on the remaster.
I'm playing this on Duckstation with keyboard and mouse controls mapped in. Others have done it better but for me this the closest I got if I wanna play console FPS games emulated.
While this game does mirror levels from the original campaign, they've actually been altered a lot. Probably to conserve space for the PS1 console.
And really only one map that's from Quake II 64.
For positives, the fact this game supports a mouse. That's incredible and I wish consoles did this more. All we need is a console exclusive keyboard, akin to the Dreamcast.
I like the new look for the Berserkers. They actually stand out from the commanders..
First few levels doesn't start too badly. It's exactly what I expect from the Q1 campaign only it's smaller and more quicker. Gives me less time to wander aimlessly and I appreciate that. Especially with the lack of a compass.
