It inspires hope, love, a second chance, and is very realistic because it can happen to anyone. The movie emphasized the best in human beings, and a strong message of the power of forgiveness and personal repentance no matter how far down one has fallen. Clear love story, without sex and violence. Three years after its production, interest in the film continues to grow. With these qualities, the film can be watched again and again without interruption. I have personally watched it 10 times and every time I find something new and beautiful in it. Unfortunately, this film remains unknown on the European market. The film is currently broadcast in Italy by Rai 1, but not in other European countries, there is no DVD adapted for the European market with subtitles in European languages. Greetings from Finland

I just saw this movie a few days ago and it was really good!
this movie is way different from the book.
1. The kid is a boy named noah
2. The one who died is Mason which is their bestfriend and not josie's grandma.
3. Both son and father have one thin in common-football
4. Liam is riding in a ducati not some luxury car.
5. No wedding nor proposal has happened wherein Liam didnt show up. The truth is Liam realised his fondness with music so he decided to grab the opportunity to go to NY. He suddenly just left
6. Liam's manager Sam is the love triangle in the story..

As well it should, besides the many grammar issues in the book, character and plot points like having a son instead of a daughter cheapened the meaning/message that the movie is portraying.

I agree. I haven't read the book but the movir clesrly focuses on his relationship with his daughter more, meaning "forever my girl" is aimed at her. Which i think is way more meaningful

But since he was living in another province I had to leave our condo behind, my job, take the cat and travel 4K km to join him. So please, I know how it is when you have somebody that you trust to betray you. At that point we were married 7 years. In my case God guided me and everything is better than before, trust the almighty God and He can fix anything even if people think that it’s unfixable.

I’m so excited for this movie, but after reading the whole series, I hate that they changed so much about it. Mason, Katelyn, Harrison, JD, and Jenna all played such a big part in Liam and Josie’s story and it makes me sad that it won’t be like that in movie.

People saying they don't think the country will suit it but I liked it. I saw the movie yesterday and I laughed and cried. It was somewhat of an emotional movie. Even though the book is different and I don't really like country, it was a good movie. The actors were great. 9/10

This looks better than the book...Bought it after seeing the trailer and the only similarity are the character names. In the book, he is a rockstar and comes home for his BFF's funeral to discover he has a 10 year old son and "his girl" is engaged to her boyfriend of 6 years. He is estranged from his hoity toity parents and has a obsessive stalker as his manager. So yeah, I think the movie for once is going to be better.
