Hi Guys, this one wasn't the easiest one to film since I was getting in on people's weddings. Thankfully there are so many relaxed people getting married that they were cool with me filming. One thing I learned was that there's an "Elvis Union." It's unofficial but there are 100+ Elvis impersonators in this industry. I wanted to get the one Elvis impersonator to talk on camera after the wedding but the chapel said I couldn't do that... Elvis politics :)
Peter, your Vegas series was fantastic, but I love all of your work. You mentioned awhile back doing a Hawaii series. Any news on when that will be released?
My wife and I married at the little white chapel drive through. It was 107 degrees and it took approximately 7 minutes. Cost $80. The $20k we would have spent on a big wedding and honeymoon was a down payment on a house.
My husband and I were married in LV. We kid of eloped...were planning a family wedding then decided we wanted to be able to buy a home too so we paid $1200 for a 3 day package at the Flamingo. Just the 2 of of us....no fuss, no drama and we bought our home 45 days later. Thanks for posting this, I love these wedding chapels!
@@BigBlueRabbitthat's actually because banana flavouring is based on the Gros Michel banana that was largely wiped out by the "Panama Disease" so they had to cultivate bananas resistant to it which is the one widely sold today known as Cavendish which had less strong of a flavor. My husband and I were married 22 years ago at The Little White Chapel. It hasn’t changed a bit after all these years. Great feature on the wedding business in your Vegas series.
My wife and I did the same at The Little White Chapel 21 years ago. We got married on a Saturday night, exactly one week after Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddy Prinze Jr married by the same minister in the same room. Unlike most Hollywood actors, SMG and FPJ are still married to this day!

I can't help but think that this video will cause more people to flock to Vegas and tie the knot, good for them !! And Elvis looks as if he's been hitting a few of those Las Vegas buffets along the strip and then some....hehe
Done the Vegas wedding myself. Saved me at least a few thousand and it was a great incentive for friends and family from all over the world to actually attend. There is a myriad of venues for gatherings before and after the ceremony and it's easy to rent an outfit for the day. If you want live music, just go to a lounge afterwards. As for photos, you can just pose around the different casinos until you can walk no more.... I can only recommend it over stuffy hometown weddings that will hit your wallet hard.
I’ve lived in Vegas since 2002 it’s still exciting place to live and play for the couples from all over the world I applaud you for choosing Vegas (which chapel) to choose how cool. This channel brings great insight about Vegas great job!
My wife and I almost got married in Vegas in 2011 but not inviting any family or friends did not go over well. So a little wedding chapel in Gatlinburg, TN was the scene for ours and we had a Harley Davidson wedding. It was awesome.
He is one of the most gracious host I have ever witnessed. No matter where he is, he is never judgemental, just reporting. May God bless this man and his family.
My step son was married by Darth Vader there. I thought it was going to be real Corning. But, the guy in the suit dressed up, took the saying of the vows VERY seriously. It was a lot of fun! Another great video! I’m going to Vegas on the 10th I’m so glad I learned all this b-4 I go back. 🤩👍🏻
Oh my God, I had my own little notion of what the whole Vegas wedding chapel thing was about but you just blew the roof off my limited perception LOL! What a fun watch this was!
This actually way more romantic and endearing because it’s genuine, and not a manufactured day of appearances. I would sit in a pew as a witness all day having fun congratulating all the couples coming through. Probably has to be such a great place to work ❤
My boyfriends parents joke that when we get married they're just shipping us to Vegas because his sisters wedding was such a clusterfuck and they don't want to go through a part 2. 😅
I got married in Vegas in a small room at Treasure Island. We figured it would be better to spend the money from a traditional wedding and put it towards a house. ;)
Husband and I eloped to Vegas in 2004 and got married in one of the chapels. The couple in front of us made our entire party uncomfortable. There was a VERY young looking Asian female (looked to be about 14-15), 3 men with her. No other females. One man was holding her upper arm and she looked terrified. They rented a wedding dress and put it on her over her jeans and t-shirt. The 4 of them walked in one of the chapel service rooms as we were entering ours. Never saw them leave, but I'll never forget the look on her face and the feeling we all had about the situation
Wow , that's awful and so sad ... did anybody try to tip off the cops that a forced marriage or human trafficking might have happened there ? Maybe Vegas had a lot of security cameras by then and maybe they could have investigated this ? I feel bad for that poor girl I hope she was able to eventually get away from them ? Sorry you had to see that on your wedding day .
I really enjoyed this segment. The video gave off good vibes about getting married in LV. ( Definitely less stress and the money you save you can spend it on a great honeymoon.
Thanks Peter for this great video in Las Vegas, I love the idea that you can just go and do this without all the stress and do it your way, congrats to all that got married this way!!!
My wife and I were married in Las Vegas! It was in the Sahara a couple of years before it closed and changed hands. We moved to Las Vegas a few years later and lived there for 8 years. Las Vegas was a big part of our lives. It was the first city we ever owned a home in. Even though I don't love everything about the city, it'll always hold a special place in my heart. I just wish it appreciated its history more instead of constantly evolving, but I understand why it needs to be the latest and best.
Not gonna lie. These weddings looks a lot better than I was expecting. I'm not religious and would actually prefer this over getting married in a church. Here in Sweden almost no one is religious anymore (of the native Swedes) but they still get married in church. I always find it a bit weird and disrespectful against the priests who actually believe. People just use the churches because they are beautiful and that's about it.
I love your work so much. You are doing such a service getting real stories out in the age of fabricated story videos. My husband and i just watched the border videos and it was so refreshing (if not depressing as all get out) to hear all the sides and how it 'works.' And the Amish / Mennonite / Jewish ones?? Riveting! Its so important to have reporter-story gatherers like yourself. I wish i could support you more than just subscribing, watching and sharing your videos.
Peter is the best isn't he?!! I've learned more about other cultures that I'd NEVER have known just by subscribing to this channel!! I too loved all the series that you've mentioned! Each one gave me knew insight and appreciation to the culture presented! We're blessed to have a talent like Peter to educate us! ❤
I was homeless in LV in 2015. I wish I was still there I could show you what the homeless situation was. Can't believe nobody showed you the truth about it ..😢
Sorry to hear that you were homeless, he’s done videos before on the homeless situation in California but I agree that he should show it in LV since it’s very rampant there as well.
Vegas is really a hell hole. Homeless ppl are forced to get an id that they can get any services. The shelters there are nasty like you wouldn't believe. I saw cops murder homeless ppl in mass. Didn't have a camera or I would documented it. Thousands live homeless in the shadows of the casinos.
My Granddaughter just got married in Vegas. Not by Elvis. At Red Rock Natl Preserve. She hired a wedding planner, traditional Christian wedding, they made all the arrangements based on what they wanted, handled license, minister, flowers, photographer and videographer, hair stylist, makeup artist. She really wanted Colorado but it was WAY more money than they wanted to spend. I have the video, it was beautiful and I cry everytime I watch it. They had already been together 7 years, both graduated college at same time (Nov or Dec), bought their first house that spring and decided time to start a family so they wanted to tie the knot without all the family drama (split families).............It was absolutely stunning, even laid out an oriental rug for the ceremony to be performed on. They're only 25 & 26 respectively. They both just turned 25 & 26. Selling their home (more than doubled their equity) and moving into Mimi's almost 4 k sq foot home basement (finished) to help her and save, buy land and build their forever home. Mimi lives in the mountains on lots of acerage, lost her husband and needs help. So it'ss a win win. So proud of them!
Peter. Another good veido from your Vegas series. I agree!!! Las Vegas weddings are a spontaneous, fast way and fun way for a couple to tie the knot. Peter. I also agree!!! Vegas weddings are definitely an interesting and unique experience for couples to tie the knot compared to traditional weddings.

Thank you Peter Santenello. That was great! I'm happy for all the couples who got married.💓
So nice to see a positive story. Another great video thank you Peter.
I was married at the Little of the Chapel In Vegas. Very crazy weekend with friends and family in 1998. Quite a memorable experience!

My husband and i married at viva las Vegas wedding chapel by Dracula on 10/31/15. Excellent video, Peter!
I can't help but think that this video will cause more people to flock to Vegas and tie the knot, good for them !! And Elvis looks as if he's been hitting a few of those Las Vegas buffets along the strip and then some....hehe
I just want to say that Rush is a fantastic band - glad to hear when people are fans as well!
Yep , RUSH is one of the best .
R.I.P. Neil Peart , RUSH drummer and lyricist .
How fun! It’s amazing to see the number of couples from overseas that came to Vegas to get married while you were filming. I never would have guessed!
Peter you are such a kick 😂 I get to go places id never go without you! Thanks ❣️😂
I’ve lived in Vegas since 2002 it’s still exciting place to live and play for the couples from all over the world I applaud you for choosing Vegas (which chapel) to choose how cool. This channel brings great insight about Vegas great job!
It is a very depraved place. Americans are pretty insane
This was the craziest video I’ve ever seen …lol Thank you for sharing!
Always interesting and entertaining and this one fun to watch , congratulations to them all hope they all have a happy long life together ❤
Secretly Eloped in Vegas just me and the wife. Later had a public ceremony. Vegas was the bomb.
Dearly beloved.. We're gathered here today because Jan and Mike have a hunk uh hunk uh burning love..
Very uplifting and fun video! Thanks.
We figured it would be better to spend the money from a traditional wedding and put it towards a house. ;)
From all of the Vegas playlist videos, this is the coolest one! Great job as always Peter!
Peter keep up the good work😀 your videos are very educational 👍
It's amazing so many foreigners coming to Las Vegas for the wedding.
WOW, big "DIFFERENCE" in these weddings compared to our wedding here in Charleston, West Virginia, back in 1981.
I just left Charleston, WV this morning. I'm starting my Appalachian series here. I'm loving WV so far!
@PeterSantenello my son and daughter in law told me all about your channel. I've been following you for a couple weeks.
@PeterSantenello BTW Appalachian people are different.... as you have found out, we talk different. LOL.
Just got married at the beginning of June in Vegas!☺️ It was so awesome just the two of us there! So glad we eloped 💍🤗 would do it all over again!
I got married at the little white wedding chapel and it was amazing.
Woo Rush forever!!! Great video as always Peter.
My parents got married in vegas, my older brother got married in vegas, I got married in vegas. It's like tradition in my family at this point!
VIVA LAS VEGAS !! and they lived happily ever after...🤗🤗💕💕
Nice to see a little more light-hearted content mixed into your channel - thanks! 😉
Thanks for this video! This was really fun to watch!
I was hoping you would cover this while in Vegas. I did a vow renewal at the Little White Chapel, Elvis did the ceremony, it was fun.
I had a smile on my face the whole time, and I’m not even particularly sentimental!
TY 🙏
I really enjoyed this segment. The video gave off good vibes about getting married in LV. ( Definitely less stress and the money you save you can spend it on a great honeymoon.
I got married in Vegas at the Little White Wedding Chapel...not by Elvis, but in the birdcage looking metal gazebo. Lol. We had so much fun!
Thanks Peter for this great video in Las Vegas, I love the idea that you can just go and do this without all the stress and do it your way, congrats to all that got married this way!!!
Love this! Interesting glimpse into the famed Las Vegas wedding chapel scene.
I’m sure he will do a video about it at some point
Peter, I think you and your wife should do your wedding again in Vegas, in a fun way. You know which one you like best;
You have a huge future Peter, these docos are amazing. Jason from Brisbane, Australia
Lmao 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
We were married 25 years ago this past may at the Wee Kirk o the Heather wedding chapel in vegas ❤❤❤❤
Fantastic video Peter.
My sister married her first husband in vegas. He was a massive gambler so it suited him.
