First streetcar arrives in Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City’s first streetcar is in the redbud color scheme. Others will be “Bermuda” green and blue. Oklahoma City is buying seven streetcars at nearly $5 million each from Brookville Equipment Corp. of Brookville, Pennsylvania.

This was interesting being the first time I have availed myself to seek out the progress being made with the streetcar project. The street car looks streamlined and is attractive. For all the downtown, Bricktown, and Midtown construction to accommodate a streetcar , it appears it will be worth it all.
