+Gadget Addict it'll not burned out I've not give it the full power that's why i access to small heatsink . it works perfectly fine still no problem at all
It's the same as with the LED strips. They are used with 12v power, but they can work on higher voltage and glow brighter, but it's a compromise to prevent overheating and extend their lifespan. Super powerful LEDs are using proper heatsinks. Little metal plate is not enough.
ZSniper ISL Superglue works, i use it to stick cob leds on heatsinks for years now and NEVER had problems with it. Don't start screaming before testing something! The only problem like in this vid is that people many times use way too small heatsinks!
This is a 9v, low amp LED dude. Even without a heatsink or thermal paste the most it will get is about 30c after an hour of continuous use. I run a 50w LED at 36v using no paste and a no heatsink at 30 volts x 1.3 and it only heats up to 35c for short bursts of 60 seconds each. A 9v doesn''t need anything.
Such a rubbish! You need a much bigger heatsink for a 10W led! Yes, you can drive it on less power but whats the clue!? Than just take a smaller led and run it on full power with an adequate heatsink! And: talk in your video or at least leave out the music!
hello...super glue to led chip....no way.....U should add thermal paste and screw the chip to the heat sink.....the chip heats up quite fast and temp is high also.
Steve Willson Kujur So it draws about 1.5 amps off the power brick? 3.7v up to 5v then up to 9v. Kind of funny. Guess you could just replace the brick with a 18650 and run straight into the adjustable converter and you would have a self contained flashlight. Might work with two 18650 in series (7.4v) and no converter needed.
Steve Willson Kujur Just modding your mod. You have to run it off a battery brick because a computer or mobile device USB port won't put out enough power to drive it. I'm not saying that you don't already know this. I'm just stating this to help others. Maybe with a powered usb hub you could have a computer desk lamp. Or use a 2 amp USB charger to power it. I think that under powering the led was a good idea. They always last longer that way.
just order a 100W LED chip from amazon for 12$ and use that instead. and only run it at 5 to 10W at 12v for the life of the LED make sure it has a heatsink dont bother with LED panels from LED light bulbs. they run at often much too high voltage like 80 to 150v
Taunter Atwill That's not right. If the LED is pulling 750mA (though I'm not sure how you worked that out) at 9V, that's 6.75 watts. A 7500mAh powerbank is rated 7500mAh @ 3.7V, so it contains 27.75Wh, so it would last just over 4.5 hours.
Thank you. Remeasure booster voltage when led on.
How long before the LED burned out or unstuck from that heatsink?
+Gadget Addict it'll not burned out I've not give it the full power that's why i access to small heatsink .

Actually, these chips use 5 1w led in series and 2 of those 5 in parelel. So the actual voltage is 15v.

Nice video my question is this madual drain battery fast
Nice and clean Video...👍👍👌👌
I found some adhesive thermal tape on Amazon which doubles as adhesive to hold small SMD LEDs, and heatsink paste.
Nice.. Well planned, smooth design. You wanted others to see and talk. That idea is good.
+Hariharaprasad Vellala thanks

Hariharaprasad Vellala
It is actually very crappy in many ways!
Well done
This step up converter can be use in strobe light ??
Thanks! Wife says it's too bright so a 555 pwm may do it.
is that 12v Wifi router can run on usb Powerbank using this DC To DC step by step converter? or 12v led?
+Leo Hunt yes it can
Bhai hum DC to DC converter may kitna volt bhda saktay hai our hum 50watt ki led nahi laga saktay
please show actual brightness by lighting up a dark room or using outside at night.
Cuanta corriente consume el STEP UP con el LED al USB? La mayoría de los USB entregan 500ma o 1000ma
where can i buy the dc to dc step up converter here in the phillippines??
Shopee:shopee.ph/product/52451576/847068167?smtt=0.0.9
Its the same as shown in the video
Nice. What is the highest Watt LED chip for the DC converter ?
not more then 10 watt
Super glue on LED ? WTF
Need Thermal cream with screw .
+ZSniper ISL it's also works
yeah I know it's not the best way .

please tell me where from you buy this screw driver
one of the best thing seen on RUclips... keep innovating Mate.
micro usb will work?
Yes it will

hey, please answer, what to do if my multimeter shoes only 5v?
how long will it run out
As many as you can run it
bro please tell me minimum voltage from output of mt805 dc to dc converter.
PUNJAB MUSIC RECORDS use 18650 lithium cell single cell from.old laptop battery or power bank
MANJOT SINGH
Depends on the input max 32volt, minim 5 volt.
can the board be used for usb charging
Ade Kunle yeah it will charge your phone
just set it to 5volt
Super Abir Yes, but it's smarter to just plug the phone directly into the powerbank 😂
Great.
Where from can I buy this circuit...
AliExpress
What did you use to stick it? I never heard of this. I've been using Shin-etsu and screws.
flex kwik
Also called super glue.
maney many thanks
Irritating "music" and your heatsink is way to small.
Nice! Make an enclosure please.
+Neo Amaterazu okay

Bhai voltage kam kiu kiya..... light 12 volt ka iii he .. me use karta hu!
As I know this LED needs a heatsink or cooler, where is that?
+Sakhina Khatun it's there small one.
I'm only using 70% of it's power so it doesn't get hot .

+jctoad yeah you are right
Can i buy that...!
I'm using xl6009 dc-dc booster and a 9w led panel that run in 30volts i extracted it from a LED bulb but that doesn't provide that much light
+creeper Ayush use 9v led
just order a 100W LED chip from amazon for 12$ and use that instead.

you should use thermal paste glue.....
No not really.
module will be heat up, and damaged
But does not it get very amps
No one has given a answer till now how to attach it with a solar panel
why would you need a light with a solar panel? xD
you would need sun to power it, and I dont see a reason for a flashlight when its bright....
КАК ПЕСНЯ НАЗЫВАЕТСЯ
the Voltage Led is 12v
टाइम। कम ओके। नाईक। लाईक।
how long can power bank light it?
tons lloyd Depends on the capacity of the powerbank. The 10watt led will draw 750 mAh at 9 volts so an 7500 mAh powerbank will last 10 hours.

Hey
why 9v on that 10w led ? that 10w led needs 12v at nominal power
read the specs .
bad music
ПОЧЕМУ
that was a total brainless project
lame. you didn't make anything. you bought 2 major pieces and put them together.
