Ideas for your baby shower & a look into how to organise a baby shower! Plan with me from start to finish including shopping, invitations, games, prizes and decorations.
I recently had a high tea themed baby shower but didn't want a big fuss! So I came up with some easy, quick and cheap DIY's to make the day special without a hassle. I had SO much fun making and planning these projects whilst on maternity leave! But I was lucky enough to have the best help from my friends and family with the food and setting up for the day. So was a nice relaxing baby shower to have at 35 weeks!

What a gorgeous baby shower you had, it's so much fun organising these sort of events. I love doing all my own DIY invites, decorations etc too. I done some of it for my wedding too.

You planned your own baby shower? Seems like alot of work for a mum-to-be!! You did a great job, but I was wondering if that's usual for the UK? Here in the US, it's either the mom's bestfriend or sister who plans and hosts the baby shower. Hope you and your family are well! xoxo
haha it definitely was a lot of work! I'm in Australia and it is pretty normal here. However my mum and partners mum organised all of the food so that was helpful xx

Hi lovely, This is not actually a template on Canva, I just uploaded the image from Google and added the text on Canva. I typed in 'transparent baby onsie' to Google if that helps xx

I download image from Google but ita not sportive in canva. Canva photo editor will not allow me to upload image and also in that invitation card you use one with bow-tie image how you get that please help me. Canva app says that image may be corrupted or not supportive to upload. And where to add text on that also .. could send me one more video for that only invitation.. that would be grt.. wait for reply. Thx

I am planning my sisters baby shower and I am having a hard time making the exact same baby shower invites. I get on the website but there is no layout option. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Hi Martha, sorry for the late reply! I just used a blank template and added a onsie picture from google. I typed in "Onsie outline" and then copied it onto the canva website. Then I could add all of the text. Hope that made sense, Goodluck xxx
