Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce that Latvian hard rockers Bloody Heels will release their new album, "Ignite The Sky" via the label. “Ignite the Sky” has some pretty heavy songs, but at the same time there’s plenty of melodic stuff, harmonies and big choruses. I like to call this album ‘Dark AOR’, haha! We managed to blend everything we love about music, to be honest. But one thing is for sure, we’ve never felt such a strong connection with the songs before,” says singer Vicky White of the upcoming album.
Latvian hard rockers Bloody Heels recently joined the Frontiers label’s rapidly expanding pool of young talent and one listen to their debut album will easily explain why the label HAD to sign them up. With nods to the great ‘80s hard rock scene, but also bordering on heavy metal (listen to those kicks drums on first single ‘Criminal Masterminds’), this band is a delightful mix of catchy and driving. With a great whisky-soaked sounding throat, vocalist Vicky White provides the perfect voice for the thunder and lightning that guitarist Harry Rivers, bassist Gunn Everett, and drummer Gus Hawk are raining down upon us.

The song is good, but the sound again is plastic and dull. Vocal is also indistinct and weak. Just listen to Canadian guys Striker: they sound amazingly fresh and emotional, and vocal is much more impressive and powerful.
This band is OK, but nothing really special or qualitative.
They're young. Give them time to grow. Their first album was self financed. This is their first "major" release. I'd say they're off to a GREAT start.
Bloody Heels are the best new 80's style Hard Rock band. far better then Striker.

@@davegalea6689 Striker manages to write good melodies supported with the real heavy metal sound: fresh, solid and sharp. These guys have recorded the album, well, with quiet artificial tone. Actually, this plastic sound is very typical for Frontiers bands. I think, if these guys had added more realistic heaviness to their plastic and toy guitar tone, they would've been like a real 80s metal band. But not sure whether rocky-poppy label Frontiers approves that.
Let's set the record straight with you, Lonely Rider. Surf our channel. We have bands with death metal vocals and prog metal bands and symphonic metal bands and so on, so calling us 'rocky-poppy' is totally inaccurate. Do your homework! Furthermore, we signed the band because we liked their music. We don't tell them what to write. Bloody Heels kicks ass, therefore we signed Bloody Heels. Furthermore, Bloody Heels isn't claiming to be heavy metal, but hard rock. So you are accusing them of sins they didn't even commit. Striker, a cool band for sure, would probably be appalled that you are promoting them by taking a shit on another band. Want to promote Striker on other channels? Simply say, 'hey, check this band out!' instead of being a lousy troll. And if you don't like this comment, then metal up your ass!
